  1. Jumped ahead of other clubs, which could be vital in this current Manager market Suspect we will again be pushing for Potter, and may have even sounded him out, hence this quicker decision. If not, I suspect we will see Moyes here fairly quickly. Either way, I think we have someone lined up.
  2. David Moyes I don't like it for the long-term, but he gives us a better shot at staying up right now.
  3. Not winning a game yet might have something to do with it.
  4. I think Arsenal will steamroll us today. I am usually an optimist too.
  5. That's the first I've heard of it.
  6. I get the feeling that Cooper is a bog standard coach, and not a Manager or leader. He doesn't seem capable of setting up a team or making decisions in games. The rumours were that he was asking players for how they want to play and this surprised them. I don't think he has much belief in his ability and this is why he sets up so cautiously and takes so long to make changes. I actually don't mind him as a person, but he just doesn't seem like a Manager with any confidence or a plan. There would have to be a huge switch in momentum for him to do well here, and I just can't see it happening. I still believe that Top will act sooner than many are predicting, as he was certainly not the first choice and so there were already doubts about him.
  7. That was a huge win tonight. Cooper got everything right. I would like to see Ward start against Arsenal. ...I'd take Moyes right now.
  8. We will end up with Moyes, unless he goes somewhere else sooner.
  9. What?! Right lads, let's dig deep and get Potter in.
  10. He will likely get 15 league games. I am leaning towards 10, as too many red flags at this stage. The only reason I think Top may act sooner, is because Cooper was clearly not their first or even second choice. I think they will try for Potter once again, but most likely we will end up with Moyes.
  11. If Cooper goes soon. It will be Moyes. Not who I want, but club will want survival over style for now.
  12. Context rarely matters these days, especially within our fanbase. When we were finishing 5th, it wasn't good enough. When we were top of the Championship under Enzo, for many, it wasn't good enough. I say this as someone who will likely only give Cooper 4-5 more games too, as I am not impressed so far. However, we cannot sack Managers after 5 games OR 1-2 has some called for. He must be given 10-15 games, (10 now for me) before we can seriously expect him to be sacked. This squad is capable of finishing 15th-17th, and anyone who suggests higher, is likely wearing a strong blue tint in their glasses.
  13. Arsenal, Bournemouth, Southampton, Forest. 2 WINS needed from these next 4. Otherwise, he should absolutely go. He may be gone if we lose heavily to Bournemouth though, as there is a 2 week gap to Southampton, Forest and Ipswich. After that, Man U away and Chelsea, which I wouldn't want a new Manager starting with. I hate changing Managers, but I also recognise the growing toxicity amongst the fan base, much of which is becoming increasingly justified. For those wanting Cooper out now, just remember that he was most definitely not Top's first choice, so I do expect he will be sacked earlier than some predict.
  14. We were always likely to be in a relegation battle for most, if not all of the season. You only have to look at the other two teams that came up, both below us, to know the step up is still huge. I can't find anyone who thinks Cooper is making the right decisions though. He has a handful of games left before I believe it will be close to a 100% OUT, on here anyway. He has to someone how find some inner bravery and actually set us up to WIN games. I do believe we have a squad capable of finishing 15th-17th, but ONLY if we have a Manager that also believes that.
  15. 5 Games - 0 win, 3 draws, 2 losses (6 total) I am still sticking with my minimum 10 game rule before I start calling for him to be OUT. That will trigger people in here who were calling for him to be sacked after 1 game, and I get that 4 more games could be somewhat costly. However, we are not as bad as some are declaring here, but we are underperforming on the pitch and there are some glaringly obvious mistakes Cooper is making, that he seems either unaware of, or too stubborn to address. He has 4 more games to get things going or I will join the OUT brigade, and I suspect there will be very few left with any patience to continue advocating to hold on any longer. He must wake-up now and start making better decisions with line-ups, tactics and substitutions, or his time here will peter out, and rightly so.
  16. Should have started with 3 DCM's...
  17. Well, another player I have potentially got wrong. I was not expecting him to be our No.9 this season, but was more than ready to have him as an option from the bench. I guess Enzo and now Cooper, were spot on about him and he just isn't that good.
  18. You're probably right, and other than starting again with a new stadium, I think most extensions will look a bit like a tack on with the way our stadium is designed. It just looks a bit cheap and tacky in my opinion. That bubble design only seems to work when fully wrapped around the stadium, like the Allianz arena. Hopefully, it looks better in person when finished. I do like the rest of the redevelopment around the ground though.
  19. Hate to say it, but I am really not a fan of our bubble design compared to others. Is it too late to change it?
  20. This post echoes my thoughts too. I was not excited by the appointment at all, but after listening to Forest fans and hearing the man himself, I thought I could get on board for 10-15 games and started to believe he might be the type of "backs against the wall" Manager that may be needed for a relegation battle. However, I have been disappointed with him so far. Not as triggered and OTT as some in here, but enough to start thinking he isn't going to last much longer if he continues with these team selections and substitutions. He has actually cobbled together a pretty decent squad now, with some players from last season performing OK so far, and also the new signings looking fairly decent too. So much so, it feels like he should be getting more from them, and he can't do that if he is picking the same players and setting us up with such a negative mindset. The 3 DCM's is a woeful approach, even away from home, and to give credit to the players, they have done their best to make it work. However, I think long-term if he persists (looking likely!) then this will completely stifle us and we will struggle to win games. The decision to bring on Coady as yet another CB, was another worrying insight to his way of thinking. My big hope, is that he stumbles across a formula, whether in a cup game or enforced by injury, that pushes him to move away from this ultra conservative style, and into a system that gives us more attacking threat and less of this hang on for dear life strategy. As each game passes though, I am not seeing any signs of him being aware of our issues. Worrying, as this place is becoming increasingly toxic towards him, and toxicity will not help in a fight for survival.
  21. I didn’t expect us to go 2-0 up. i did expect us to concede an equaliser in extra time.
  22. He may not get to 10 games at this rate. Selecting that line-up after what he has seen so far, is a disgraceful decision. Is he really this anti-football? I didn't think he would be this bad.
  23. This is a tough game for us, but I feel like Cooper has to get a win, otherwise this place is going to get very toxic, especially if that is the lineup.
  24. I'll give you 50p for it. £40 if you can remove the number.
