+ hospitals '...At least 13 hospitals and health facilities hit during attacks on Iran, WHO says Global health body investigating reports that four medics are among the 1,230 people killed in Iran since start of war' Same playbook as in Gaza. They will bomb most of Tehran with huge civilian casualities. I despise the Iranian regime as much as anyone, but I have not heard from my friend who lives in Tehran since the bombing started, and I can't imagine the hell her and her family are going through right now.

Reuters Exclusive: US investigation points to likely US responsibility in Iran school strike (killing 168, mostly school girls) Would explain why the US and Israel are still 'investigating'...

because Oxford will overtake us soon too? We may as well go down in style - 2nd bottom.
-
The question in my mind is now switching from if, to WHEN we go down to League 1, can the club actually survive?
-
I have no idea what is going on with Winks, and I really don't care. I just want us to avoid relegation, and when he is on it, he stands out as the best passer and organiser on the pitch. If Rowett has somehow got him refocused until the Summer, then I'd try get him starting most games if possible.
-
Not without a defence. We will continue to leak goals with that back 4 We have to hope we get some players back from injury
-
He's not really suited to playing upfront at all or anywhere.
-
Anyone else surprised he celebrated with so much passion? I thought he had checked out long ago. Maybe Rowett can get something out of him. He is still our best passer and organiser in midfield, however his work rate and desire is one of the worst.
-
We just cannot defend with these players. I don't know how Rowett will be able to stop us leaking goals. Low IQ, low work rate and low commitment = almost impossible task
-
I don't want to see his face ever again. Change the whole formation, if it means we don't have to ever suffer Luke Thomas as our LB.
-
FFS Mavididi just cannot hit the target. So useless, other than some stepovers.
-
Thomas would struggle in League 2
-
Tony Pulis did it better.

We are flying

always liked Winks...
-
I sometimes wonder if Winks purposely wants us to lose.
-
IF we don't go bankrupt (BIG if)... then dropping to league 1 with a (forced) complete clear out of these overpaid losers, could be the best thing that ever happens to us. The fact that some of these players are on so much money and getting to show up to 5* Spa levels at Seagrave, is an absolute travesty. Even if we have to pay off some of their contracts to get rid of them in the Summer, we absolutely should. This will be a multi year rebuild, but the longer we delay it, the further we fall and put the future of the club at risk.

Crap Shit Rubbish Awful Wank Useless
-
I thought Mavididi was the player we had under Enzo, but that was just a flash in the pan and due to better players around him (KDH most notably) The real Mavididi is the player we see now. Useless. I will be so happy when he is sold in the Summer. Give him away for free if needed.
-
I think he will be a competent League 1 Manager
-
Rowett won't be able to get these players to care. They just want the season over so they can try find other clubs. I would drop most these players and start playing the youngsters, as at least we would get a higher work rate.

League 1 incoming...
-
Took 3 weeks to offer him the job, and given him just a 4 month deal. Not exactly a vote of confidence. I get the impression Top still thinks we are a big draw for Managers. Almost as delusional as him thinking we will return to the Premier League anytime soon. Hopefully Rowett keeps us up, but Top and Rudkin deserve another relegation with the farcical way they run this club.
-
I liked his interview, and he gives me better vibes than Marti did. It is still a massive job to get anything out of this squad though, and if he gets off to a bad start, then that will be that IMO. However, if we get a new Manager bounce, then I think he will do enough to keep us clear of relegation. He has the incentive of earning a longer contract at the end of the season, so we haven't made the same mistake of throwing out 3 year deals. Good luck to him! Hopefully, we will at least have a Manager we like, as opposed to our easy to hate Players.
-
We need to get lucky and he just clicks with this terrible squad, enough so to get us clear of relegation. I think his ceiling is lower and suspect the longer he is with us, the longer we settle into being a bog standard Championship club. But, keeping us a Championship club is the new target... depressingly.
