Not convinced Dyche would have wanted to join, especially for what we were likely offering him, although I expect he at least showed some slight interest before knowing the big (depressing) picture. He is the one I thought we needed, as I knew this squad would not perform for someone that didn't bully them relentlessly to get a tune out of them. Ah well, hopefully we get lucky with the next guy, as Marti ain't it.

Surprised how bad Will Still has been. That was seen as a major loss that we didn't go for him. I think he will go first, but I hope it's Marti, for our own sake. We need to get very lucky with the next appointment though.

Time to roll the dice already. I get that we should also blame Top, Rudkin and the players, but that shouldn't excuse what we are seeing from Cifuentes. We are getting worse week by week under his Management, or lack of. Roll the dice, and hope we get lucky and something clicks with the next guy. Look at Lampard FFS, it sometimes just works with a particular Manager and squad.

Feeling quite smug that I was in the minority that wasn't keen on this appointment... I just didn't see what others were seeing. Got no clue who we go for next though. I just hope they act soon, and not let this slide continue, as we could end up fighting relegation by the end of the season at this rate of decline.

Dyche would have us in the top 2 by now IMO. Not a great appointment for Forest though. Will keep them up but nothing much more than that.

What the hell was this signing?! Bizarre. Smells of Cifuentes to be honest, as no way can this guy have been adequately scouted.

Any manager who plays him should be sacked immediately. It is that simple.

He was the wrong choice. People championing him, were filling in the unknowns with personal wishes. Unfortunately, the more we know about him, the less impressive he is. Not sure where we go from here though.

Me too. I thought it was the best line-up we had, although seeing Carranza tonight, I would not start him again. I just don't think Marti has given this team a clear identity yet. The players look a bit lost and clueless under him so far. I suspected we would need a really strong Manager to come in and take this squad and league by the scruff of its neck, and Marti just isn't that. He seems passive, and that is how we look when we play - Not enough fight, not enough intensity and certainly not much of a plan or style either.

He is our 3rd choice striker, in a team of only 3rd choice strikers.
