Needs proper regulation. Including regulating the companies like Deliveroo etc. to ensure that those that do the deliveries have proper safety gear like helmets and hi-vis and even a basic training in how to ride safely. I was driving in London on Tuesday and I was surprised by the number of these delivery scooters/cyclist there were, weaving in and and out of traffic, jumping lights and hopping onto pavements. There will be a death, if there hasn't been already, of a delivery scooter/bike/moped rider. It's inevitable. What bothers me is that the likes of Deliveroo don't care.

But is it a case of cutting off your nose to spite your face? Every tourist attraction will do less well out of season but at the height, these places make shed loads. Take Cornwall as an example, the cost of renting a holiday cottage between May and October is astronomical. That's where the big bucks are. Cornish people own and then rent such places at a vastly inflated rate during summer months then moan when the season ends and their income falls. They can't have it both ways and a "tax" on tourism will affect them negatively.

Clearly they both have issues. That being said, why is she allowing this to happen to her? Is it the classic withdrawal of an accusation by a wife who is a victim of domestic violence in order to maintain a status quo because otherwise her future is unknown and it's therefore safer to "put up with it" than pursue a conviction that might jeopardise her own future especially if she has no other resource to fall back on in financial terms or somewhere else to live? Women like her are in a desperate situation and it takes a great deal of bravery and emotional strength to make changes.

Isn't that counterproductive given that tourism is a valuable income stream?

Ridiculous. Anyone on a tight budget will surely think twice about visiting any country that charges you extra for staying there.

My mum and my aunt both worked there in the 60's and 70's as examiners/menders. They would have rolls of material that they had examine for faults such as dropped stitches and, tiny holes that the knitting machines had created and, once found, mend them with a darning needle or a crochet hook so that the final roll of fabric was perfect before going to the next stage. My mum says that working there were the best times of her life. It was such a (pardon the pun) close knit workforce and that Corah's valued and looked after their whole workforce. Time moves on and now it's a shambles of small industries, ( I hesitate to say sweat shops) mostly producing cheap clothing/fabric products.

To me, he sounds like a one man band singing for money in Leicester Square. Having said that, you are so wrong. Why is he a "copycat"? Have you actually listened to his lyrics? His songs are among the most recorded by other artists including "Feel My Love " by Adele. He would probably admit he didn't have the best voice but his contribution to music is exceptional.

You must've watched Newsnight last night. The interview with level headed, professional police officer that came after the interview with the nutjob that is Jake Tansley who "led" the insurrection was a stark contrast. He (Tansley) was so patronising and misogynistic and disrespectful to Victoria Derbyshire it was a painful watch. She did well to hold it together. He is an awful (American redneck) person.
