Bit of a tangent but I’ve just had a look at Forest‘s full squad. They haven’t been as reckless as made out (loans, free agents and one-year deals), but it’s still a massively bloated squad with a dozen non-academy players out on loan. That’s surely going to bite them on the arse in 2-3 years. It’s offset by selling Johnson and probably MGW, but these lads won’t be on peanuts either. It’s pointing out the obvious, but it’s been largely forgotten because they’ll be fine this season.
