The beauty of football is that you cannot rule anything out. Who knows what will happen and who can step up? Danny Simpson was dismissed but became an integral part of the team, just like Taggart or the initially red card magnate Steve Walsh. I’d personally love an already integrated player to prove his worth and demonstrate his ability. It’s not really much different to younger academy players demonstrating the same.

So excited to see all of this come together over the course of the next season.

I was actually going to watch this game (England matches normally make me fall to sleep) in the hope of seeing Maguire and Vardy. I do not think I will bother now. Some very strange decisions here including Rashford leading the line when he hasn't played a full game for Man U since December! So sick of England managers not having the bottle to pick on form rather than name.
