  1. Apart from when we paid even more than that for one of our worst ever keepers
  2. This consistent crushing disappointment has been great practice for the football season.
  3. He's just a poor man's Tommy Orpington.
  4. Our promotion was confirmed almost 3 and a half months ago btw
  5. You brought up talks several times, mentioning first that it would rapidly de-escalate things, the obvious implication being that it won't de-escalate if they don't do talks. So if it's not justified either way why couldn't you just say they have to stop? And this is far more serious than idiots battering a Greggs, and you know it.
  6. That because the Government hasn't opened what would be entirely unjustified and democratically illegitimate 'talks' with them they can and will keep going. You agree then that they should stop immediately without any concessions being made to them?
  7. I'm not the one making excuses for it?
  8. What is being said in these talks? Be more specific. Again, why should he or anyone else pander to this violence and intimidation? Do you think what these people have been doing is justified?
  9. Talks saying what though? As I've said we've just had an election, that was the talk. The party that won said they would reduce immigration - you have to give them a chance to implement their democratic mandate.
  10. We just had an election. What kind of message does it send to immediately give a group that didn't win the election everything they want because they're causing violence and destruction and are threatening to keep doing it if we don't?
  11. They're both wrong, that goes without saying. But if a corner shop and the Bank of England both got robbed on the same day, would you expect them to appear side by side on the front pages the next day? They are reporting it, you're just upset it's not being equated with trying to burn down hotels. Incidentally the BBC report of this incident mentions that when it was reported that the perpetrators were Muslim, representatives from the local mosque visited the pub, apologised and offered to pay for the damage. Hopefully the right wing groups have been doing the same?
  12. And during the three-quarters of the season when it's not warm and sunny? This also assumes we're playing at 3pm on a Saturday, which we know is increasingly rare. A lot of the time there won't be a game to watch.
  13. Unfortunately that's more or less the club's dream outcome as they could then demonstrate that they facilitated the meeting but were given no direction by the fans and therefore no actions to take.
  14. He and Cannon have been treated poorly by the club and can't begrudge either of them wanting to tell us to get stuffed.
  15. Also what absolute bullshitter told them people would hang around outside the ground for three hours after full time to watch the late game on a big screen The answer to the so-called traffic nightmare is to stop driving your cars all the way to the ground, nothing else.
  16. That's brilliant that they asked not to discuss the season ticket charge and ticket prices Pathetic and embarrassing.
  17. Didn't seem to help Hull much last season.
  18. No Ifs. No Buts. This is terrorism.
  19. terrorism noun the unlawful use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims Seems pretty clear to me. You don't have to kill someone for it to be terrorism. But as you've asked, I'd say trying to burn down a hotel knowing there are people inside is attempted murder. Why? Because it's inconvenient or embarrassing for some of the wrong people? This is being organised via a system of coordinated messaging. It's become beyond serious.
  20. This is a coordinated campaign of domestic terrorism.
  21. You're currently making excuses for people that are committing arson with intent to endanger life and assaulting minority ethnic individuals in the street. I find that quite incredible. If they want a UK like the one they used to know, they should convince people to vote for it. We just had an election, people didn't vote for it. Ignoring that and saying that we have to do what they want, or face violence and destruction, is literally terrorism.
  22. The idea of someone failing because of such hubris was what I found amusing.
  23. Is this still a thing for this season? Doesn't seem to be an option on the website anymore.
