Admit it's probably a bit petty and bitter of me but can't help but feel it sticks in my craw that in a period where we produced 6 top 10 finishes, 3 top 5 finishes and won the title and the cup we could barely get 1 player in the England squad. Now Palace play well for 2 months and make up half the squad?

We lost 11 times in the Championship. He did a good job pulling the players together and instilling a style of play but let's not pretend we're dealing with some kind of football genius here. It wouldn't be the end of the world if he went, there are managers available at the moment. We have to shake off this mentality that when someone achieves anything at this club then they should have a job for life or their mouth should be stuffed with gold until they agree not to leave.

Not sure when this rule changed if it did but I'm sure it used to be distributed between EFL clubs rather than PL clubs. Disgraceful if they've changed that rule to suit themselves.

I'm not going to pretend it was the only reason but it was definitely part of my decision to give up my Season Ticket last year. I bottled not buying a Membership in the end because I wanted to do a few aways and ended up coming to a few homes as well, but I do hate what this regime has become and I think the way they've been treating the fans is a bloody disgrace. No doubt it'll be the same again next season and I'll give them their money but the horrific matchday prices are going to make it that much harder no doubt. Just feels like a matter of time before I'm coming once a season or not at all.

Ultimately staying up is enough given the points deduction, but I don't want people making out it would require some kind of miracle to achieve that. It doesn't and we should hold reasonable expectations of the club to perform well enough to catch and stay ahead of 3 teams.
