Ruud was a top class striker, Gerrard a top Midfielder. Neither have been great managers. So certainly wont judge Skubala based on his past life. He's done pretty well with lincoln and work pretty high profile roles with the FA I believe.

Maybe we need a steady manager, with old fashioned values, to get the basics right for a year or so. Boring appointment, but I think if we appointed him not Marti in the summer we wouldn't be 4th fro bottom even with the 6 points.
