Every appointment we can make is a risk. Moyes was a disaster at Sunderland, coberan hasn’t managed in the premier league, potter needs time to build , RVN is inexperienced. Etc… One thing we know it wasn’t working with cooper, you would have thought the players would be up for working with RVN. Might still be someone else, but all appointments are a risk.

The RVN worries me but not in the same way cooper did. I think RVN will have a set plan and his reputation as a player might go a little way in the short term. Players are more like to listen to a former Real Madrid and Man U league winner than Cooper(no saying that’s right by the way) But I’m just not sure if hes the right guy for the job. That said, it does have a little more excitement than other appointments. His backroom staff would be key.
