Indeed. Though we have been linked with him since even before rodgers left, which worries me. Again he's better that Marti in my opinion, but still think he's have a big task winning people over.

Noticed in the odds Alan Sheehans have come in from about 20-1 to 12-1. Don’t want him as manager but could he come in as a coach to help King? They’d know each other from being in the youth team and would’ve been in and around the 1st team together.
-
To be fair he has managed Derby and Birmingham, but agree it’s meh. Think he is better than Marti but uninspiring I know.
-
Thing is with Rowett his record in general in the championship is better than marti. Until the end of the season fine.

Heart manager history really does repeat itself.

Also working with king who he knows really well.

Pearon doesn't get on with Rudkin I don't think. Pearson with King and another experienced head would get the backing of most. Also could trust him to him advise and sort other issues in the club.
-
Funny thing is, if we appointed hm in the summer many would've been happy I think.
-
If they appointed him I am convinced they are doing it on purpose.
-
Problem with an interim appointment is what criteria makes it permanent. Top 6?

Listened to Rowetts interview with second tier pod, interesting at the end how he talks about the bigger picture and helping clubs plan for the future and bigger picture stuff. Also said he doesn’t just say we will play this way he’ll assess the squad etc… speaks well, not sure he’s who I want so depressing to be where we are after everything. I think he had more right to the job the marti ever did.
-
He kinda did the 2nd time and it took 2 seasons to get to the championship winning team.
-
I think it'll be Rowett, might be wrong. Not saying thats who I want.
-
Surely not, McLaren not managed a league club for 7 years Hughton for 4/5. I'd have thought more likely Rowett, Mowbray, but maybe even Hasenhuttl or someone like that.

Assuming they go down the path of giving it King until the end of the season, i have been trying to think of team mates or coaches he has worked with that are currently coaching(or recently coached), that might are more senior to him that have more experience. As a manager, coach you want to work with people that share your vision, but also challenge you too which you can imagine, Shakey and Walsh did with Peearson. Chris Powell Jumps out at me, but he's a Luton, we are a bigger club than them but he's not been there long. Can anyone think of anyone else? Not Perason, but people who might be ahead of him in a coaching journey, but aren't head coaches/managers.
-
I would've said Chris Powell but think he's at Luton.

I can't work out the best option here. If its going to be King until the end of the season, say it now and let him get on with it. (not that I think that is the right option, though I don't think we'd be any worse off point wie if he got it in the summer) But Other than that, i'm just not sure they are going to get it right again. Mowbray would be ok until the end, Sunderland fan I know liked him. Other than that, it needs to be something that can generate some excitement. Which is why it wouldn't suprise me if the club tried to bring in some other "legends" alongside king.

Or someone lower down the odds. Puel was in the odds about 10th favourite. Wagner or hassenhutl maybe?
-
Gary O’Neill at 8/1 I guess anyone betting don’t realise he’s gone to Strasbourg.
-
To be fair he kept Oxford up and stoke were a bit all over the place at the time.
-
Michael Skubala’s style of play focuses on a modern, possession-based approach rooted in his extensive futsal background, emphasizing intelligent spacing, structural fluidity, and intense, calculated pressing
-
I heard this too. Not sure how true it is.
-
He is but I do think he’s better than marti. Don’t want him though.
-
Top says he felt he had to make the decision. So sacked I think.
