  1. He wasn't on the pitch or anything like that. I honestly think he won't get sacked but he will be moved and a DOF or Sporting Director appointed. Someone said to me that they'd heard Southgate as manager, however could he be the new DOF? He said thats what he was interested in doing next. Not saying it should be him but just a thought.
  2. It was very out of tune to be fair. Cooper was terrible Ruud has been terrible, we need a clean break. I keep thinking it would be that bad if he stayed, it could be worse(Martin) but it’s time for a break. Also one small bad run he’d just be sacked. New manager needed.
  3. Decent yesterday, had had some decent games. Not a winger anymore. Could see him as an option in games next season as a 9/false 9 with pace either side of him.
  4. I still think it’ll be surprising where he ends up. Man Utd?
  5. I get what you are saying to some extent, but he's a legend and has earned the right due to service and what he's achieved with us over the years. Wout Faes hasn't so you can't take that out of the picture. It would also be more of an issue if we needed to win to stay up for example. There is so much to be angry about with this football club at the moment, not sure this is something you should be. Though it's not for me to tell you what to be angry about.
  6. Jamies Vardy vs Wout Feas, I think he has maybe a bit more in the bank in terms of what he has achieved for the club. Think its fitting that he finishes at home. Also non of us know what is happening, maybe is going to a team in the club world cup and we are getting a bit of money because of that. (no matter how minimal)
  7. I'm not so sure about that. I think it might be a surprising/shocking move his next club. I have no inside information but don't be surprised if he rocks up at somewhere like Man Utd. He has 12 goal involvements in the league this season in a really poor team. Though that interview made me think that he could end up at a Championship team. It all depends on whether the move is financially motivated or he want one last challenge.
  8. Doesn’t have to be MLS or could be different registration for club World Cup. It was just speculation on my part anyway.
  9. To be reunited with Russell Martin again?
  10. Is he maybe off to a club in the Club World Cup?
  11. They are in the club world cup too aren't they? So might want it done quickly?
  12. Yeah I said ok at Salford, so he dint do too bad. I just was trying to look at it objectively.
  13. I think the only with with RW, he's had a patchy career. Didn't do well at Oldham, Did really well at Swindon, Ok at Salford, Really poor at Donny and Amazingly well at Leyton Orient. I think people may be ok with RW, but its a gable like any other appointment, I can't see the club going that way.
  14. I’m not young btw. I didn’t see McClintock but witnessed pleat, I was meaning more of a return to the more direct football of the 90s under O’Neill, little and to some extent Adam’s. My opinion was formed from talking to people, the older people I have spoken to have said Dyche younger people have mentioned other names. Sorry didn’t mean to cause offence. Though not being young I thought I was ok to make the comment.
  15. True, then I know a Burnley fan that loves him. Like I said not my choice at all.
  16. I think he’s always wanted the job here since he started he management career. i do think there would be better appointments but there would be a lot worse. Did he do more at Everton to allow for moyes to do well? Maybe, but their upturn makes me nervous about the appointment. It also makes little sense in terms of the appointments we make, no plan etc…
  17. I honestly think there would be quite a bit of support for Dyche. Not saying it’s right. But I think some fans, maybe older ones would like it. Would he get us promoted, probably, would he then keep us up, maybe. Just how well Everton have done since he left is a red flag for me.
  18. Yep I’d choose him over wellens. But can’t see us doing that not a big enough name. Hasnt failed really.
  19. Yep deffo sounds about right. Only thing they will be thinking is he got Southampton promoted.
  20. I think the we haven’t seen a change in management, is Ruuds compensation. That is also why it might be an out of work manager. I know I have joked with you about RM on here. I was sure it would be him, still got a feeling it might be. I don’t want dyche really, but at least he has kept a team in the premier league. But feels like too far from “the style” top wants. you would hope the club might read the room. But agree with an earlier post I don’t think there is a universal appointment that fans would get behind.
  21. It’s like all city’s, good and bad bits. Derby is my closest city and it’s ok. But not far from where you mentioned it’s pretty ropey. for me Nottingham is a far better city for a night out than derby. Used to love a night in Leicester but not done it for so long.
  22. He may see what happened with Enzo and see it as a stepping stone.
  23. Now did you have to do that, I was trying to feel positive we might be ok
  24. Think we know nothing is going to happen yet. Going to be after the season now.
