This is just awful news. I’ve been a huge basketball fan since before Kobe entered the NBA and I watched him throughout his career with great interest and enjoyment. What a terrible tragedy, and how awful for his wife and 4 children, the youngest of which is only around 6 months old.

I agree completely. My solitary post in the match thread was words to the effect of being beaten by the better team and having no complaints. Going into this season, I was hoping for a top 6 finish. I’m now hoping for top 4, so reflecting on the season so far, I’m very happy indeed.

Maybe you’re right. I’ve played competitive sports and have never felt remotely like smiling after being on the end of an arse kicking before though. I guess I just want to see that the players are as pissed off with the performance as I am. I’m really pleased with the season as a whole though, so don’t worry, I’m not about to start slating any of the players.

No complaints from me. Liverpool are just a far superior side, as were Man City.
