  1. After an initial wobble where I though I might regret tainting those great Mario Kart battle memories etc, etc, I now remember why the Snes was such a great era of gaming. I'm having a great time reliving some old games and forgot how much fun they were. I highly recommend getting one if you are considering it.
  2. Going to give the SNES mini a blast later. Did anyone else get one/want one?
  3. A new trailer... http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/article/60279/Red-Dead-Redemption-2-Official-Trailer-2
  4. I'm on series 3 and thoroughly enjoying it. I'd have had field day watching it in my mid-teens. EDIT: Have just started S4, not 3.
  5. I was tempted to renew PS Plus while the £40 for 15 months offer is still on (and before the price increase in a few days) but resisted the temptation as until RDR2 is released I won't be playing any online games and I find very few of the monthly freebies enticing.
  6. I let my PS+ expire because I never used it. Ever since then they've started releasing some decent games.
  7. The Witcher was amazing from start to finish but they saved the best for last in my opinion. Blood & Wine was absolutely fantastic.
  8. Anybody with a PS+ subscription should give Life is Strange a go which is available to download this month. I played it not too long ago and thought it was very good indeed. Easy platinum trophy too for for anybody who is into that sort of thing.
  9. I would have loved to have watched it but had to get up and go to work today and didn't want to be knackered all day. I would LOVE IT if the Cavs beat the Warriors to win the championship but at this point, it's hard to see them winning one game.
  10. Ahh, the busker was after the concert. I left through one of the side doors so unfortunately missed him. Looked bloody good as well.
  11. I had to look at the set list this morning to find out what songs I'd been listening to and was very surprised to see that he'd sung a couple of very well known songs which I was completely unaware of the previous night. Duquesne Whistle and Desolation Row where about the only songs I recognised on the night. I heard about the busker but but didn't see or hear anything on the night which is a shame, he/she seemed to be very well received.
  12. I was there too. I went with very low expectations so didn't leave feeling disappointed, truth be told I went there predominately to actually just see the legend that is Bob Dylan. I was surprised however that there wasn't even a hello or goodbye (upon leaving I was told by a stranger I got chatting to that that is entirely normal from Bob), but the biggest shame was that he didn't once pick up the guitar that sat to the right of the stage. A blast on the harmonica would have been nice too. On the whole, I thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I could barely understand a word he sang all night and didn't recognise the vast majority of the songs.
  13. I agree with all of that. I've just about finished the game now and on the whole, I'm disappointed with it. I was hoping for much more. Zero replay value either so I'll have it on eBay in a few days.
  14. Whilst under the influence of alchohol a few days back, I casually mentioned to the wife that we should consider going abroad next year (we haven't left the UK for a few years after having kids in both 2012 and 2013). She's spent every waking minute researching where to go ever since and is now ready to book somewhere. I'd have been happy with Ingoldmells, that'll teach me to keep my mouth shut. Damn you cheap ALDI lager!
  15. Got my ticket to see Bob Dylan in Nottingham in May, can't bloody wait. £84 did seem steep but I've wanted to see him for years and probably won't get many more opportunities, so didn't mind too much.
  16. It's a subscription based, game streaming service... https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/explore/playstation-now/
  17. Haven't heard that it's going to be available on PSN, but I did read that it will soon be available to play via Playstaion Now. If that's the case then I'll try out the 7 day free trial that's available, but I'm not paying £13 a month to subscribe or whatever it is, bollocks to that.
  18. This isn't a photo or a picture, but it made me laugh... https://youtu.be/v4IC7qaNr7I
  19. I hope that there's only 1 playable character. Was never a fan of the multiple character thing in GTA5.
  20. Bloody well loved RDR, it set the gold standard for multiplayer games (imo) and the single player story was fantastic. Haven't been this excited about a new release since San Andreas.
  21. Real shame for me that Durant has jumped ship to GS. That's what I don't like about the NBA nowadays, too much teaming up with other superstars rather than the organic way of growing through the draft and complimenting that with solid free agent signings.
  22. I was reading that yesterday and it crossed my mind that it must be the most idiotic thing I've ever read on a football forum. Utter stupidity.
  23. Always liked that song but never really listened to the lyrics until now. Now I love it.
  24. Just ordered this from Tesco for £22. I wasn't particularly keen on Skyrim but I'm hoping I'll enjoy this.
  25. Agreed. I'll be glad when this series is done. This programme is getting old for me now.
