I agree with that OtF, in the videos of the Welsh squad training today, their (probable) first choice defence was playing, with Danny Ward in goal, against a forward line of decidedly back up forwards. That smacks to me of them working up defensive strategies for Group games, WITH Ward in.

And decisions on substitutions. The stat that we would be 5th now, if games ended at HT, says it all. At some point after 45 minutes, Bilbo either makes substitutions too early, or too late and often they are the wrong substitutions. And then compounds it, by sticking to the previous style of play, with the wrong players to play it (square pegs in round holes). The man is a complete tactical idiot!
