If we could just stop conceding easy goals

We’re actually playing the best football we’ve played this season.

Because our only other right back is out till March. Justin just needs a break from the team but is suffering due to our poor squad building.

At least we’ve had a shot on target

No defender within 15 yards to follow up on the parry.

No matter how well we play, we just give away so many basic goals

Poor goalkeeping and where was our defence?

Dammit

We’re not trying to press them. We are defending deep, trying to play through their press and hit them on the break. Working so far

Pretty impressive start from us tbf

Only one of our summer signings in the starting eleven

March at the earliest

Yep, our squad is so so weak. We have 5 key players out injured, but then so do most clubs by this point in the season…..

Soumare against Kevin De Bruyne

Yep, there has never been a better time to play them, the counter side is that there has never been a better time to play us. We are totally porous in defensive and impotent up front.

We let in three goals by default in every match this season. We have no chance against Man City, we just need to try to keep them below 5-6 goals so that our goal difference isn’t completely hammered before we can reinforce in January. We are by a stretch, the worst team in the division at the moment.

We need to start Skipp and Winks as our defensive midfield pairing. Soumare is crap and lazy and offers nothing defensively.

He has let in 135 goals in that time however….

Unfortunately they don’t need to click. They just need to be a functioning Premier League team and they will leave with a three goal victory regardless of their current form.

Vardy won’t sign up for another season in the championship. (Unless Rebekah starts tweeting Colleen again).

The chronic squad mismanagement from the last season of Rodgers onwards is killing us. Soumare a regular starter after being loaned out cause he was too crap for the championship

Well done those that braved the trip. Likely the last chance to visit Anfield for a few years.

For all the Ruud anger in this thread, there really is no one else he could pick. The subs bench shows that the squad is honking. Only questionable decision is whether Buonanotte should play, but Ruud has gone with the more defensive attacker in Ayew, away at the league leaders. The formation and system aren’t the problem, the problem is the players available aren’t very good.

That subs bench

Not if one of them is Ward
