It’s our midfield. Everton can pickup the ball 15 yards inside their own half and they are running directly at our back four. Our midfield offers absolutely no defence, and I hate to say it again, but the why we will never escape relegation with Soumare on the pitch.

Very disappointing window tbh. The club had the chance to reinforce in a bid for survival, and instead we've kept our crap loan player that can't get near the team, and signed a backup RB.

It will be the same team and formation as last week. Only potential change is Mads back in goal if he's fit.

Ayew plays to give us an outlet. He’s the only forward we’ve got with an ounce of muscle, and he is there to challenge for the long balls to relieve pressure.

He only ran back and lost the ball because there was nobody with him to pass to. Everyone was camped at the back. I liked his burst forward. Showed he can take on and beat players, and he relieved some pressure on the defence for minute. Everyone else was just booting it out to come straight back at us.

He wasn’t as bad today, but wasn’t asked to do too much defensively by Spurs.

Even a menacing look is asking a lot from Soumare. Perhaps a wry smile or blank / bemused expression

To be fair, none of our midfields work. Soumare winds me up the most though, so in lieu of a wet paper bag, it has to be Winksey and Skippsey

Can’t remember exactly when it was, but the match was 90% Soyuncu and his partner (Faes? Vestergaard?) passing it between themselves at the back. We got tonked 4-0 and the train back into Kent was full of West Ham supporters - I was in my Leicester top 🤦‍♂️

I was in the upper tier last time I went. It’s miles back from the pitch and the lower tier seemed to be having more fun. There is safe standing in the upper, maybe that’s it? It’s a terrible ground. Designed for athletics not football, and there is a massive bit of dead space between the two away fans tiers.
