Imagine if we signed that many players, but as usual, none of them get into the team ahead of Soumare

Same old story. Played some neat possession football in places but never really laid a glove on Villa or looked like scoring. Villa won without really ever getting out of first gear. This squad isn’t good enough for this division, we need multiple new first team players to come straight away and hit the ground running to have even a hope. 5 losses in a row.

Have to say it’s been a poor first half of the season. We look like a club without any kind of plan. We lurch from manager to manager without any consistent underlying tactical philosophy, we sign scattergun players that can’t get into the team, and are resorting to playing players that were loaned out last season as not good enough for the Championship. Performances are improving under Ruud, kind of. We look more organised but the last 4 matches has still seen 12 goals conceded and only 1 scored. We need major strengthening in January and no more cockup signings. Im not overly hopeful given the way the club is currently being run.

Our squad lacks depth. We can put out a competitive 11 but our subs bench is honking. We have made players like Coady and Soumare, players we didn’t deem good enough for the Championship, regular starters. Out of our summer signings, only 1 started yesterday. We need very good January window and to not lose Mads to Chelsea and we might have a chance.

He did, it’s just he was further away from the ball than Savinho because he was marking Bernardo. There should have been a midfielder tracking back, Justin had two players to mark; the spare one beat him to the rebound.

Justin was marking Bernardo, no midfielder tracked back to support the defence. If Justin moved to cover Savinhi and the ball bounced to Bernardo he would get the same pelters. He was left 2 on 1 and had no idea which of the 2 Stolarzcyk would parry the ball to.

Justin was marking Bernardo. It’s not his fault nobody from midfield had tracked back leaving him to mark two players.

Justin was left marking 2 players for the goal. If he went for Silvinho and the other player got in instead he would still get berated on here.

Wasn’t really a Stolarcyk error. He saved a long shot, parried it out, and no Leicester player was anywhere near leaving Sivinho to run in for a simple tap in.
