LCFC 0-3 Newcastle - Post Match Thread
HowardsBulletHeader replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
The most enjoyment I had tonight was the old boy next to me saying "At least we haven't let their main man Isak score, hope I haven't just jinxed it". He'd been subbed 20 minutes earlier. Probably fell sleep, bless him. -
As you bloody should, fair play mate. 2 & 1/2 hours, 1k in the shop and seeing those holes are memories that 95% of golfers will never get. Hope you lapped up every moment.
-
Seen on Sky that it's been suspended, hopefully you got there at some point and got something out of the day before they gave everyone the boot!
-
Top effort, love that. Have a great time. If you see Shane Lowry, make sure to let him know he's getting a green jacket on Sunday. Unless he fancies giving it to his mate Rory, I'll let that slide. Weirdly I've had a punt on Maverick McNealy at 110/1, never played there before but it didn't stop Ludvig last year and Mav is world no.16 so hardly a chopper. There's a few that I think are bigger than they should be in the betting, Straka (55s), even Lowry himself at 33. Going to be a great week, hopefully a European winner!

As a golfer you will well know, the forecast isn't always right. I've lost count of the amount of times my wife goes, "rain all day tomorrow" as I walk round the course without a drop. Hope it turns out well for you, decent bit of wind and maybe it blows over quickly if it comes.

Went to Barwell again today, took a little while to warm to the task but once they did there was only one winner. Comfortable 3-1 and another 3 points on the board, still incredibly tight at the bottom though as Sudbury won. 1 from 4 to go down, just hoping Barwell can keep themselves above the dotted line.
-
I don't, but I've been going recently and it's been superb to watch. Giving up my LCFC season ticket to go down there next season full time, far more enjoyable, much better value for money and best of all no VAR.

Proper race that, brilliant from Nico and Jango Baie who dropped out the back of the screen at one point. Superb to watch. -

Can't turn down 6/4 on 365 on the best horse I've ever seen. Even if it does lose, it's a bet I'm taking 100 times out of 100. -

The bookies certainly agree with you, all of them boosting Constitution Hill worries me. None more so than Denise, the favourite destroyer herself. -

Can't get Annie Power out of my head with this four fold tomorrow though! One of them will let it down surely! -

Love it, looked earlier and couldn't believe there wasn't a thread for this. I don't bet big enough to do the favourites, so I'm going: Irancy 14/1 4 places Whistle Stop Tour 12/1 6 places Stencil 5/1 6 places Gericault Roque 9/1 5 places Can't wait to see Constitution Hill, think BDA has made that a decent race. The way Kopek won as well LTO, can't really see past that in the first either. -
The Ashes 25/26

Yeah, but given the distance you wouldn't just go for the nice beaches as you say, we have plenty far closer. We went for just over 3 weeks, hands down the best thing I've ever done. All the main sights, Opera House, Harbour Bridge, MCG, Aus Open, Great Barrier Reef, Whitsundays, Surfers Paradise, Bondi to Coogee Walk there's absolutely loads to do. The food is great too. We travelled around a bit and barely scratched the surface. Would love to do it all again and I will, one day. -
Not used JustPark but I've used YourParkingSpace as others have noted, never had any issues. Parked on someone's drive for a week whilst we were in Portugal within walking distance of the airport too, nearly 200 quid for the airport and paid 24 quid for the week on the app. I use it all the time when I'm going somewhere I don't know for the weekend, so much cheaper.

The Ashes 25/26

Loads. The way of life, places to go and visit, beaches, sea, people are so much nicer than UK. In cities there's parks, places you would actually want to go and walk round, areas are kept so well. It feels like the Government actually wants to help you rather than shaft you, cheap bus/train fares compared to here, so easy to travel using public transport. The people love their sports as well. When you go abroad it's an eye opener to how far behind we are. -
I'm 4 episodes in and quite enjoying it, I have always felt like for the avid golf fan there's not much you don't know so that bit doesn't bother me. I think what has always fascinated me is the psychology aspect, how these guys who are world number whatever think they just can't compete with the top top guys (I.e Lowry v McIlroy or Hadwin and Taylor). We definitely don't realise the full mental aspect of it, I see it for the guys who struggle to keep their card but those around the 30-50 world rank mark you don't expect them to have the mental battles they do. Hardly surprised that Cantlay wants nothing to do with the camera, in fairness I wouldn't want him on anyway, one of the most uninteresting, boring blokes there is. Love Ludvig Aberg so I enjoyed ep1, he's going to pick up a major this year in my opinion.

The Ashes 25/26

I went to Aus in December/January, best thing I've ever done, brilliant place, would do it all again in a heartbeat. I've been convincing Mum and Dad to go as they're now getting to the "now or never" age, slightly bitter they've gone for now option and will be trying to get tickets at the Ashes this winter! Parents 1, me 0. -
I had a guy try to send a photo of a document into our work... The downside was, there was a glass table, no shoes or socks and his toes were on show. Not a pleasant sight at 8am on a Monday, or any hour for that matter.

Great win for Barwell today and thoroughly deserved, could've had 7, the ball just wasn't falling for them first half. Hit the post twice and lots of chances. Ashley Chambers with 3 in 3, lots of Leicester connections in the side, great to watch and even better to finish with a few jars in the bar afterwards and still be home before I would be from watching Leicester.
-
Going Barwell again today, they've got a new signing, to be announced shortly on their twitter... The excitement is too much!
-
Went tonight, gutted for them. Did really well to get back into the game, took the lead late on and then checked it away. 3 identical goals from Bromsgrove, all rebounds from keeper saves, just not reacting to second balls all evening. Big ask to stay up now!
-
Potentially going to Barwell tonight, relegation six pointer against Bromsgrove, looking forward to it! Just need to make it back in time from work!
