What is insane about it is that the West Ham defender has both arms over Van De Ven's shoulders meaning he can't jump off the floor. If there's any foul in there it should be for a Spurs penalty.

Exactly? Can't exactly counter effectively when the striker can't trap a bag of cement. Get someone who you can play off. With Daka you can guarantee that we'll consistently lose the ball.

Some glaring holes in this team in terms of quality. The likes of Thomas, Skipp and Okoli are extraordinarily average.

You're setting yourself up to get annoyed if you really think he's going to be building the team around teenagers mate. There is not a single manager in the world that would do that. Monga, Page, Aluko, Evans etc will all probably get considerable game time. I would expect that Leicester will have the highest number of minutes played by teenagers by the end of the season by a considerable distance.

But all we've seen so far from Marti is that he's happy to chuck the kids in. Does that really go out of the window if he chooses to bring on experience to close out a game where we're down to 10?

It's a 46 game season. There will be times where the experience of the likes of Reid will be invaluable and there will times where the youthful exuberance of Monga/Page etc will win us games. Winks and Faes shouldn't be playing because they've spent the summer trying to get out of the club but I accept there will be pressures on Marti because they'll be earning 150k a week between them. Marti has shown that he's here to provide a direct link between the academy and the 1st team. Not sure how you could claim otherwise.

The change to 4-3-2 has worked. Split strikers are causing problems. Would like to see 20 minutes of Carranza.
