Brendan put himself before the club and it set us back years. Taylor was awful vs the position of the club at the time. However, while Ruud inherited a club in disarray on and off the pitch, the output was unbelievably bad. 1 win, 1 draw, 16 losses between 14th December and 26th April. We went from 8th December to 3rd of May without scoring a home goal.

I just used my eyes mate. Clubs from outside of London always get hit with that sort of "Why would a footballer want to live there" sort of question yet Eddie Howe has brought in top class footballers who have bought into their supporter's ethos. Their team leaves everything out on the pitch and the relationship between fans and players is pristine as a result. We've signed too many players over the years that would immediately swap Leicester for London and are only here for the dough. What's wrong with telling those players to do one? Why do we have to accept players that don't care?

Look at how Eddie Howe has transformed Newcastle. It absolutely can be done.

I don't believe that, at all. I am not asking that players live in a flat on Granby Street. There are so many lovely places to live in Leicestershire. Your bog standard office job lets people work from home because they’re advertising it as a bonus to save them paying you more. It’s not like a footballer can work from home. When you’re on 75k a week long term deals you should be expected to make “sacrifices”. One of those should be that you integrate yourself into the county properly.

Strange that neither Carranza or Ramsey went for 11 now that Bilal has gone. I assume that that number would be available.

Why isn't the club requesting that players buy into Leicester when they sign? Why is there a such a lackadaisical approach to it all? The club clearly isn't asking players to move here yet kicks up a fuss when obvious issues surface later down the line (Winks refusing to stay here on the eve of a game, Vestergaard bringing his dog into training etc). It sort of feels like LCFC doesn't care about the City/County anymore. It doesn't feel as though we have people working at the club who want to show off what we have. You get the impression that the players we've been signing are only really here for the money and that has taken away from the family like feel we used to have.

I've said it before but I think we were unlucky in that Filbert Street became uninhabitable too early. We wouldn't get one of these flat packed 30k stadiums if we were designing a new ground now. It feels as though clubs have learned from the mistakes made by us, Southampton, Derby, Coventry etc.

Harry Winks is being paid the best part of £4m a year to be a Leicester City player yet hasn't deemed it necessary to immerse himself with Leicester and Leicestershire. I don't really understand why people think it's acceptable for a player on that sort of money to half arse it? We should be telling people when they sign that we want players to come here and feel a part of the city. There are plenty of fantastic places to live here. Full of life, great scenery, great education, great space and it's a safe environment to raise a family. The club should be requiring ever player that comes here to be a part of that. Too many players come here that live in Manchester, London or, even worse, ****ing Nottingham. If Leicester isn't good enough for these people then I don't want them here.

There needs to be better collaboration between UFS and the club. From the outside looking in (emphasis on 'outside', I might be - and probably am - wrong here) it appears that there are people from both sides actively making an amicable collaboration impossible. It just seems so uncooperative and discordant in comparison to other fan groups across the country. That's not to say UFS should be silent when questioning club decisions and or that the club should be happy with anything UFS wants to do. But I think the club has to do more to placate the whingers and the NIMBYs in the first instance instead of bowing down to them. The current method of "these few people aren't happy with it so it can't happen" isn't working and is driving a wedge between fans and the club. These your 90 minutes meetings seem to get these published notes where incidents are brought up anecdotally and used to evidence seemingly big issues when the reality is more likely that one or two people have raised an issue. It probably doesn't help either side that the club has been so turbulent in recent seasons. I would imagine that things were easier pre-covid where it felt as though the club, the fans and the players co-existed harmoniously.

This is where the club needs to help IMO.

Of the 6 bullet points from that 1st picture... 1st - Totally agree. 2nd - I think any display adds to the atmosphere. 3rd - I get that. Shouldn't be obstructing disabled areas and I get why there's be a touch of annoyance about having your view obstructed. Maybe UFS/The Club should inform people that there will be a surfer beforehand? I don't know. 4th - I agree, I think these are the best displays. 5th - Isn't this exactly the same point as 3rd? 6th - This is something that I feel strongly about. The club should be letting everyone know when the displays are fan funded.

Been a tragic summer for young Jacob Bethell. Looks like a deer in the headlights. 5 single digit scores in the Hundred, top score of 36 for England in T20I and a top score of 6 in tests. Had a fine 80 odd in the ODI against West Indies in Birmingham but since then it's been really dismal.

Spot on. His attitude might be absolutely fine but we only see a miserable bastard that looks as though he'd rather be anywhere but here mope about the pitch. It doesn't take much to show you want to be here yet he's not showing it. The same for Faes.

I feel as though a lot of strikers that do well at this level are like that. Josh Sargent is probably the best striker in the league at the moment and he's an absolute nothing player. So long as they're hardworking and can take their chances a striker will score goals in this league.
