Because they want to avoid howlers. I do think that situations like Sunday's are that obvious and that far away from the goal that they should put their flag up though.

Blimey. I just assumed he'd been winded. He's a decent striker but has no luck with injuries.

Summed the man up when he jibbed the header at the end. He doesn't have it in him.

Harrison Burrows was a great little buy for Sheffield United. Exactly the sort of player we should be targeting this summer. -
Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread
AKCJ replied to Happy Fox's topic in General Football and Sport
Sheffield United have been at about 28k per game all season. Not really a surprise that neutrals/fair weather fans don't want to pay full whack for what's essentially a dead rubber. That said, you'd think it's the ideal opportunity for a father to get his kids hooked on the blades. -
Giving it large about us not competing when the Premier League budgets skyrocketed when their starting 11 yesterday cost something like 20x as much as our title winning squad. Not to mention the fact that we literally were having similar seasons to them back to back with a squad that, again, cost a fraction of this Forest squad. Fact of the matter is that their season is entirely unremarkable if the UCL didn't gift England another qualifying spot.
-
Such a weird fanbase. I've never met a Forest regular that isn't a complete freak show.

He's coming here

Desperately want Vardy to score. We could lose 5-1 but if Vardy scores and gets the send off he deserves then it'll have been a good day.

YNWA is null and void when you go out of your way to **** Liverpool FC over.
-
It didn't happen because Trent's team has been in bed with Real Madrid for the last 2 years ensuring that it didn't happen. That's the point.
-
So Liverpool fans have every right to voice their discontent. You can't have it both ways. He's lapped it all up with the "Scouser in our team" chants, kissing the badge, his celebration against us the other week etc only to have spent the last 2 years plotting his escape.
-
He chose to run his contract down. Every player is entitled to do that. But the Liverpool fans have every right to be pissed off. You say that they could have sold him, but Trent has made up his mind years ago. That's the point. Real Madrid have said they've wanted him but didn't want to pay for him so he's run his contract down to get there. Real Madrid paying money was never an option.
-
If Real Madrid offered £100m and Liverpool accepted it then it wouldn't have been on him.
-
It might be done or it might not be. I don't really see what we gain from playing him if it's a done deal though. Ruud continuing to play him in the league suggests that he's got a future here (as it stands).
-
Liverpool fans have every right to boo Trent. He's whittled his contract down over the last 24 months to ensure Liverpool don't get a penny for him. He's their vice captain ffs. He knows what he's done.
-
Yep. Likely good for us that he didn't score that haha. He'd have gone to Man City for a £2m compensation. Really hope we can keep him because he could be our ticket our of PSR issues. Let alone being able to watch him rinse the Npower.

I thought he looked electric. On another day, maybe with a few more first team opportunities under his belt, he scores that chance at the end. I was worried he would buckle and didn't think bringing him on was the right move because he's 15 and they were very aggressive in their challenges in what was a hostile atmosphere at 2-1 but he looked at home and Neco Williams (admittedly a fairly average fullback) couldn't get near him. I really thought that Sels didn't get enough on that save to palm it round the post, I really thought it was doing to drop into the net. Ah well, he has to start next week IMO. I thought Ayew and McAteer did well enough but we should go after Ipswich.

I'm no fan of Kohli but his impact on the game has been undeniable. One of the modern greats for sure and it's a shame he's retired before this tour. -
Wait what, this is on Sunday?

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
AKCJ replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
He's here for next season. That was clear as soon as he lasted a day after the Liverpool game. -
The first 20 minutes of the second half were abysmal but Ruud took Skipp off and it changed the game.
-
God doesn't exist because if he did then that Monga effort goes in. That said, ****ing funny to play that badly yet still deny them UCL football. Just need Enzo to play his part in a fortnight.
-
Oh my god thats ****ing funny.
