Glasner could walk into most jobs. Forest are clearly in a mess and aren't anywhere near big enough to keep it an attractive option like Manchester United. He would be taking a step backwards by moving from Palace to Forest.

Even though it's Forest I still have a hard time looking at an English football club being owned by someone like Marinakis. Fit and proper my arse. Will be good to watch them sink though.

I agree that he deserves recognition but it wasn't that good of a performance as a whole. It wasn't like Chelsea were peppering us and Kasper pulled out save after save. It was really only the big, big moment with the Mount save.

Two number 1s almost never works. IMO there needs to be a clear hierarchy with goalkeepers. Obviously we needed a keeper because Bausor needs to play every week.

The more I think about it the weirder this one is. Seems a bit too good to be sat on the bench as a 26 year old in the Championship. I've seen a lot of Betis fans think that Vietes is/was better than Adrian and should have been kept. I think Stolarczyk has done absolutely fine so far and doesn't warrant replacing but I do wonder if Marti just wants someone better with the ball at his feet? It all gives me bad vibes. IMO we should be backing Stolarczyk as the undisputed number 1.

I think as soon as he finds that confidence to express himself he'll absolutely explode. Reminds me a lot of Lamine Yamal when he first started to make a name for himself where you could see that he was absurdly talented but just looked a bit shy. My prediction is that he'll have one game soon where he just completely dominates. Starts demanding the ball from team mates, regularly skins his fullback, scores a great goal etc and from that day he'll just go to a completely new level. I just don't see how he isn't at one of the world's biggest clubs this time next year. Just have to hope we can get paid.

I'm not saying he was any good. I just think he gets put on a level above because he was the one to eventually take us down. IMO everyone we had between Micky Adams and Nigel Pearson was as bad as each other. None of those managers were any good and I think that that was why we found ourselves in League 1. A football club isn't anything like an ordinary business.

I'm no Holloway fan by any means but that squad was tragic. Just full of old blokes who had no interest. Only Gareth McAuley, Paddy Kisnorbo, DJ Campbell and Richard Stearman went on to do anything after leaving us. Holloway was a part of a long list of poor managers who were left to look after a shite squad. He was awful but he's unfairly remembered against similar managers at the time because he was there when we went over the edge. If he gets sacked in the March/April that year and someone else takes us down then I think he's not getting as much of the stick that he does get. I don't think he was any worse than Levein or Kelly for instance.

Again, I thoroughly disagree. But even if it reduces the size of the pond we're fishing in, at least we know the pond will be full of players wanting to do their best for the City. It's a privilege to play for a club like Leicester and any big club would hold that standard.

Obviously every footballer will back themselves. You don't get to the level of Premier League without that self confidence. But Buonanotte couldn't get into the worst Leicester side i've ever seen. It's a bit much for him to think he could get into the Chelsea squad.

Exactly the same for me. £35m was a fantastic deal for Palace for a player that would clearly like to leave. Glasner will not be at Palace this time next season and neither will Marc Guehi. They're essentially paying a £35m loan fee for a centre half. Yes he's a very good player and I never like to see mid-table clubs be bullied out of their managers or players because it happened to us, but this was a good deal for Crystal Palace. If Glasner wasn't (or isn't) willing to give his future for the club I would have sold Guehi and used the money in January or next summer to kick start the rebuild. They're too good to go down and have a lot of good players.
