Maybe we'll be back from the dead in three days. It's the hope, isn't it? -

Club is rotten from root to stem. A few good performances staved it off for a while, but it's well and truly back. Owners need to go, board needs to go, manager needs to go, players need to go. -
Trash, Maresca has utterly lost the plot I'm afraid.
-
Been a bit out of the loop recently, Ricardo back yet? 🙏
-
I swear I hear this a lot, but I remember reading loads of times that he wasn't that interested in football and bought the club because his son loved the game. No arguing Vichai was the better businessman though.

Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
indierich06 replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
So these new rules. FSR instead of PSR. is that even going to be any better for us? I've read that the key to it is not spending more than x% of revenue on transfers and wages. Our last reported revenue was about £200m, it'll obviously be less this season. Our wage bill is about £50-odd million and we're committed to paying that until we move players on. So you're probably looking at a transfer kitty quite a bit south of £100m if we get back to the PL. Given we probably need about 8-10 players, that cash isn't going to go very far. Think we're in for a bleak few seasons. -
Can you stick a quick tenner on Hull?
-
Can't play Coady and Vesty together. Glacial pace. I don't even like Faes, but he has to play because he's quicker than those two.
-
This PSR shit is absolute ****ing nonsense and the sooner they do away with it the better. FFP was bad enough, but now it seems that any club who don't have the revenue streams of these mutants like United and Chelsea are unable to even remotely compete for players in a market that has been overinflated by said clubs. How is it that the transfer activity of clubs like Everton, Leicester, Forest and even Villa comes under more scrutiny and is considered more damaging than what the likes of Chelsea and United do season after season? With these rules, they've created a scenario where anyone who isn't a top 6 club, with the revenue streams connected with that status, will genuinely never be able to compete in this country's top league. We can't buy the same players as the top clubs, we can't invest in our squads in the same way. If I was running a PL club, I would be genuinely looking at whether these rules breach UK anti-competition laws.

Enzo is being 'outwitted' by the coach who's a goal down?

You can see the score right? 1-0. To us. We're the ones in blue.

Why can I just constantly hear this one Sunderland fan 😅

How have we not scored there 😭

Decision making is so poor at the minute, they look scared. Just need to settle down.

Sunderland (A) - Tuesday 5th March - 7.45pm

Despite recent performances, we're still top scorers in the league, we've got one of the meanest defences in the league, we've won the most games, fewest draws, among the fewest losses - there's a lot to be positive and that doesn't just evaporate overnight. Every team in this league has had a blip, hopefully this is the end of ours tonight. -
Genuinely think Top just defers to Rudkin, and Rudkin basically runs most of the show. If I was the owner I would be looking at the likes of Brighton and doing everything in my power to replicate how they're run - Top just seems happy to coast along without any real long term strategy as to what we should be doing.

Vesty back in, that's a no brainer. Would be tempted to drop Justin for Doyle, or maybe stick him on the other side for Choudhury, so he can play the inverted role? Faes has to play to make up for Vestergod's glacial pace unfortunately. Mads Justin Coady Faes Doyle Winks Akgun KDH Fatawu Vardy Mavididi -

It's ****ing weird, I have no idea how this will go. If you look at the stats for the last three games, Boro and QPR in particular, (and I know stats don't tell the whole story) you're left wondering how we didn't end up with 6-9pts. These two numbers tell you everything you need to know about us really: Always seems to boil down to mentality - if we score early we seem desperate to try and protect a narrow lead, which invites pressure, if we miss a few easy chances then we seem to panic and fall apart. The club should genuinely employ a sports psychologist, because there is something which is getting to this group of players, and has done for the past 4-5 seasons, and it's something which transcends personnel and management seemingly too. We had Ken Way during the title winning season - and I've read articles in the Merc about what he did. Obviously he's going to blow his own trumpet about how important he was, but surely it wouldn't hurt to get someone in to understand the root cause of what's going on at this football club? Oh yeah this is the pre-match thread innit. 3-0 Leicester. -
No I completely agree, just think it's fortunate for us that he wasn't an integral player to the side. And of course, there's the depth issue. Hopefully Ndidi is back soon.
-
We're not suddenly losing games because we don't have him, he was pony. Would be nice to have the depth, but can't say we're missing him in particular.

Two losses mate. We've had six all season. -

Should have been 4-0 before they even scored, and honestly before the last 20 mins would have put it down as one of the performances of the season. Two very bad results in games we dominated, let's move on. -
We're 6pts clear at the top of the league chief
