This is being seen with quite a few "centre-right" parties in a lot of places at the moment, being hijacked or eclipsed by some much, much nastier.
I don't think it could be coincidental either.
...might I suggest that at least a little of the criticism of the Scotland team is based on daft nationalistic enmity rather than being actually legit?
That being said, IMO overall they got what they deserved for the standard of their play in this tournament, which was (next to) nothing.
If this were the case, I'm pretty sure the current sociopathic dictator running the show in the country that Scotland are playing tonight might have more to say on the manner. Or not, who knows?
On topic, yeah, shite game so far.

I think this is a working hypothesis that needs to be tested tbh.
It certainly seems that English fans and media are often whiny, negative and really tough to please, but whether that's actually true across the board in comparison to other places merits a closer look.
What this also means is that India can't take their foot off the pedal totally because there's still a mathematical chance of them being eliminated.
Would take a nasty loss to Aus (40+ runs) and a crushing victory for Afghanistan against Bangladesh (60+ runs), but it is a possibility, so they'll need to keep at least somewhat switched on.
