  1. It's just never going to work - he and the club should be doing everything they can to permanently move him on.
  2. He definitely grew into the game and having a left-footed fullback offers balance. Has twice the level of aggression of Thomas who my 3yr old would knock off the ball
  3. Viktor Kristiansen needs to show a hell of a lot more quality tonight than what I’ve seen so far. Sometimes feel like his work rate masks his lack of ability…over to you Vik
  4. Hoping the likes of Mavididi and Fatawu step up tonight and show both our fans and the millions watching that they are comfortable at this level. If those 2 play well then we may get something from the game.
  5. Sporting in for this forward, maybe they have switched their attention from Fotis
  6. He’s their main man so strange that he’s on the bench (and not starting) unless there’s something in the works
  7. Interesting a lot of Spurs fans think he’s twice the player Winks is
  8. I promise I’ve not been drinking 😂😂😂
  9. If we can get £10m+ for Soumaré in the next 2 weeks then will feel better about this deal
  10. In excess of £20m!!! Levy laughing to the bank WTF!!!?
  11. This is a result of Steve “I need players with Prem experience” Cooper. the opposite isn’t doing too bad for the likes of Brighton is it…
  12. All I can think is that Cooper wants to create a very solid holding pair that sit in front of the defence - which allows 4 very fluid attacking midfielders/ forwards to do the damage. might work in away games when we have less of the ball and can counter
  13. Cooper highlights his desperation for attacking reinforcements… Rudkin: I know! Oliver Skipp. 2 goals and 1 assist in 6 years of senior football make it make sense
  14. Don’t feel the slightest bit excited about this. Is he the answer?
  15. I see Rennes have just sold their left sided Belgian international CB Arthur Theate to Frankfurt for £13.5m. Less than what we paid for Okoli but this guy is left footed, only 24 and with big tournament experience. would have been a much better option than Okoli and given us more balance in defence with him being left footed but what do I know
  16. I think all parties are waiting Leicester - waiting for prices to go down as selling clubs are forced to sell either to balance the books or bring in new players themselves Selling Club - waiting for better offers Player - waiting to see if a club in a better predicament than Leicester come in for him. All points to a busy last few days of the window
  17. Southampton signings remind me of how we used to operate. Nothing, then all of a sudden boom and the player has signed - under the radar. none of this long ass drawn out shite a La Soule, Ayew, Zaha, Fotis, Hlozek etc etc the list goes on (Okoli is the exception)
  18. Saints doing even more business…but it’s OK we’ll just take our time
  19. Yeah, that is a head scratcher. If he was a left footed CB then I could kind of understand it but seems a bizarre buy
  20. Don’t underestimate the pull of playing in the Premier League and the wages we can offer. In most cases those factors will always trump who the coach is. and by high level, I probably mean high ceiling I.e. Under 25 who can improve and who we can sell on for profit further down the line e.g. Hlozek, Fotis, Asprilla, O’Riley etc
  21. I can only think that we are in for fairly high level players who are waiting to see all offers before making a decision, but that there will come a point in the final 2-3 days of the window that either the parent club will push the player to leave or the other offers won’t materialise and the player will make a decision to join us. Very high risk strategy IMO
  22. Anyone checked on @Ric Flair ?
  23. You have to laugh 😆 on to the next one…
