That did cross my mind at the time. It was literally just after he signed that he wasn't playing or in the squad, so had the same thought. Excellent today. He's the CB to build our defence around going forward.

He was picking up positions in the middle between the 2 centre backs, which Ayew didn't do at all. As such, it made their defence not push forward as much so our midfield could breathe. Not a technical gifted player, but lots of energy and did some nice things. I like his attitude and even though their number 5 tried to bully him, he kept getting back up and going again. I like him.
