I understand how it works. I was being a bit facetious. I just don't see it as a useful stat. For me, it's a bit like when people talk about assisting the assist. You start getting so far removed it starts to feel less useful and more stats for the sake of stats.

You'd think they'd be the same thing. If it's not expected to be a goal, then surely it's not expected to be an assist! Pointless

I don't think it's for you. Not sure it's a big deal if a young kid gets excited by a leicster city t-shirt comes shooting towards them from a cannon. All the kids around where I was sat last time loved it. I think there's room in the game to appeal to the kids as well as the singing section etc.

Not a good deal for overseas fans either. I can pay $140 for FoxesHub and get some games, but only with in house commentary and nothing else, or a ESPN+ subscription which will have most EFL, as well as FA cup and League Cup games for $99 per year. Who on earth is going to do this?

Frustrated waiting, but some comments make out like we are uniquely a shambles and any other club wouldn't do this. Yet, Leeds are yet to appoint, Southampton apparently have a verbal agreement but not announced (we'd be up in arms at the club in that case... especially with Russell Martin). Not sure how much our speed to appoint is an outlyer in our circumstances.

Honestly, most modern commentary is rubbish. It is all narrative driven. They go in with a narrative and can't stop pushing that whether it fits what happens on the pitch or not. BBC and BT are the worst.

Yep. all they have achieved is tainted as far as I'm concerned. And at the expense of the success of others.
