Plenty of nice walks in Leicestershire; Bradgate park, Beacon Hill, Swithland wood. Tie that in with a pub lunch in any of the surrounding villages like Woodhouse Eaves, Swithland, Quorn. In the evening there are lots of nice restaurants around the Highcross, St Martins or Queens Road. Knight and Garter is probably my favourite, great atmosphere and they do an excellent steak.

Quite like the sound of this instead of taking the Flixbus. Will drop you a message if that’s ok.

Decided to go via Copenhagen for this. Fly out from Stansted on the Tuesday to Copenhagen, then get the bus to Randers on the Wednesday. Back to Copenhagen on the Friday for the last night. The bus is about 4 hours but for £32 all in you can’t really complain.

Used them a couple of times this season as they have recently introduced a pick up at Syston. They don’t usually have a stop which means they get you there in time to have a few in the pub before the game. Brighton for example, they dropped us off near the sea front as we were there hours before KO. They don’t do refreshments no.
