He looks very raw but I would love to see him in the squad next season. The loans out are obviously improving his game and confidence so it’s about time we rolled the dice with him and gave him a proper opportunity here.

I honestly wonder if Ricardo could play a more holding role in midfield instead of being at fullback. He’s capable with the ball at his feet but has lost a few yards of pace so always wondered if there’s a role there for him next to somebody like Skipp.

Okoli is a terrible defender and an absolute liability and Nelson is suspect at times. If anything, if Lascelles isn’t fit, then Aluko should be given a go there because he’s looked decent there.

I think he meant everyone else turned us down but the club knew weeks ago that Rowett fancied it, so he should of been in the hot seat instead of King being chucked into the fire.

On a serious note though I do wish him the best of luck. Still can’t see drastic changes until the proper swamp is drained.
