  1. For me, King Power is simply the sponsor. 'King Power out' type messages don't really help. What needs to be highlighted is the amount of shocking decisions that have been taken by the senior leaders. Of course Top has ultimate responsibility for this. He quite clearly needs to recruit a far superior senior management team. Ideally I would like to see King Power retain its backing, but with significant changes at board level, and a change in attitude leading to them communicating openly and honestly with we, the supporters.
  2. so I've run a few PR companies over the last few decades. I've supported City for 50 years. Doesn't mean I'm expert, but I can offer some thoughts: We need to communicate with outsiders, not ourselves. Keep the slogan very, very generic if you want people to remember it Focusing on individuals make us look a bit tacky The most successful slogans in recent years have been Make America Great Again and Get Brexit Done. I hate the aspirations, but as communications devices they are genius. I'd recommend those thoughts guide the ultimate choice. Well done @ozvaldo. It takes courage to do something like this.
  3. You may be right - who are those five better players on the bench on your opinion?
  4. We may not be very good. That’s one thing. But the utter lack of fight is another. We simply don’t look bothered
  5. That new commercial director did a fine job.
  6. Not worried about the dog. I’d find it amusing though if the next time he plays the whole ground woofs everytime he touches the ball. Would provide some much needed match day entertainment
  7. A footballing nonentity. Clearly he has something when he tries, but he rarely does, which is despicable. What a waste
  8. Spineless. Week in, week out. It’s the apparent lack of effort from most of them that stinks
  9. It’s all so sad and feeble at the moment and saddens me. So I guess I am still bothered, yes
  10. The 40 year old Peter Siddle who announced his retirement in December last year?
  11. I'm sorry, this is a dismal take. Ours was a start. Protest movements in all walks of life start small and grow. The point is to try and build on Saturday, which gained significant national media attention.
  12. well clearly they are thinking things out, as earlier in this thread they've stated why they've delayed releasing details. Even if you're lazy, it's pretty obvious the gathering will be reasonably close to the ground and at around 11.30am. It's currently Tuesday. The game is on Saturday. You're clearly devoted to LCFC given the amount you post. You can do this. And it's bit rude to suggest they're not thinking things through just because their plan doesn't meet with your approval
  13. spot on. There are plenty who like to vent their disapproval. This is an attempt to build a community of protest, and these things always start small, and with no guarantee of success. But you have to start somewhere. Good luck to @ProjectReset and all others involved in trying to make this happen.
  14. I’m taking the positives: the whole weekend beckons without interference from my football team
  15. A front line of Fats, Mavididi and Patson should be capable of scoring loads
  16. I suspect away from the spotlight he will be a perfectly competent goalkeeper. He clearly doesn't have the mental strength for the top level. I suspect he pulls off worldies in training, but freezes under pressure.
  17. That Bournemouth game. Midsummer of course. I sat at the bottom of my garden for about an hour I was so grumpy about that one.
  18. So current LCFC is too miserable for words. Me and my mates tried to define the games that marked the beginning, and the end of our glorious era? We agreed on the 5-3 Man Utd game as the beginning. At the time perhaps the most extraordinary game I’d seen. The end? Blowing a 2 goal lead at home to Brentford in August 2022, when our according to the BBC report ‘There is so much talent running through this Leicester team but there have been suggestions that momentum could be waning after a dormant summer in the transfer market so far.’ You know what happened after that. September 2014 to August 2022. A wonderful 8 years
  19. Genuinely can’t wait for this season to be over. It’s utterly joyless being a Leicester fan at the moment
  20. Agreed ours is not unique in being over-priced and lousy, but off the top of my head Spurs, Brighton and Brentford offer better quality, better value, and even the occasional smile from the staff who work there.
  21. This is an excellently articulated article @The Fosse Way.
  22. I feel you can see that we have a game plan now, and at times play some decent stuff. I'd argue that last night against Palace was about as well as we can play. But they had better strikers, and we have terrible central defenders - all of them. And we can't keep changing managers. We can't afford to paying millions in compensation. I've accepted that in all likelihood we will go down. I just hope next season we blood the likes of Nelson and Alves, and see if we can build a new team recruiting from the lower leagues and Scandinavia.
  23. Coady was marking Haarland, moves away from him just before the cross is played. Leaving Haarland unmarked. Total basics frankly.
  24. I was sorely tempted to leave at half time but stayed until 87. About the third time I’ve left early in 50 years. Miserable, cold and deflated.
  25. Not even any half time ‘entertainment’ any more. Not that it would have lifted the mood today. Feels like the whole club has given up, apart from the e-commerce team imploring me to buy more overpriced tat
