This is definitely one of those roll the dice signings . Some work some don’t and end of the day it won’t cost us a fortune . I’m not too fussed about it , it’s a one year deal and it’s a free and he’s bags of experience . The clubs has been toxic for so long any professional is a bonus to help the youngsters and we haven’t a pot to piss in .

No surprise clubs like Man City and Liverpool etc have cherry picked for years and players will always go to them . Hasnt the last lad that went there from here left already

Similar for me except it wasn’t the penalty save that I was impressed with it was the fact he actually clung on to the ball and didn’t palm it off into the path of an opposition player .

2nd half was disgusting to watch but we dug in and kept fighting . If we are going to stay up then we need to show fight every game as we had none previously . I’d rather stay up with ugly football than get relegated with no fight, tepid football.

I think we’ll find Winks and Skipp start for a couple of games and JJ brought on from the bench to replace either of those per game depending on who needs a rest more or who is having the poorest game . Also think once JJ is fully fit he’ll start some games an not others from what the manger has previously said about injuries and managing players minutes
