  1. 1/10 today. Absolutely abject in every aspect. You can't have a system that relies purely on structure and patterns of play if you don't give players alternative solutions. Substitions were hopeless (why leave 4 defenders on when they didn't even get into our half). Don't put Iheanacho on the bench when he's the only different option up front? And one of his great strengths has been his integrity and attitude. But the last few performances have been that of absolute bottle jobs and his decision to give Hamza the armband is disgusting.
  2. If we throw this away it's down to the players and management. Standard of this league is woeful we should never let a lead of this size slip.
  3. Why an earth keep Choudhury on when they're creating nothing. We don't need 4 defenders on the pitch
  4. Mavididi has been pathetic
  5. We're pathetic sometimes. How is Daka the only guy scrapping for the ball in the area
  6. He really hasn't. His stats would tell you he's hardly been 'so poor'. Ridiculous hyperbole as per usual on here. Rightly he didn't get back into the squad post AFCON but he completely changed the game in midweek. After that, and the fact he offers something different, he should be in every squad. As you say, we play one striker so what's the point in having 3 guys in the same mould in the squad? One is never going to get used. Better to have a guy that offers something different as an option. Awful management if that's purely a football reason.
  7. No he isn't. He's been disappointing but hardly rubbish. Fantastic against Bournemouth and the point is, he's the only one who offers something different. Has to not have been picked for non footballing decisions as has been suggested otherwise it's bizarre.
  8. Ah, these quality streams again where it's Leicester coverage 1 min, QPR the next
  9. Agree with that reasoning earlier in the season but at this point he's needed and Bournemouth was hardly the performance of a guy who doesn't care
  10. No Kel is a mistake. Had a great game in the week and is the only different type of striker
  11. Was quality last night. What we've been hoping to see all season really. Think it's fair that he's dropped all the way down the pecking order with average performances and being away, but he has to be on every squad. The other 3 all are very similar and he's the only one who can play with his back to goal and drop into space. Particularly noticeable in the Boro game when we weren't creating anything (before the barrage at the end of the game)
  12. Abysmal. So many decisions against us

    Daka

Jesus man. He has a virtually flawless game until that sitter. Cannon has definitely been harshly treated but I'd like to point out that Vards has missed lots of great chances this season and you certainly wouldn't get an all round performance of that standard from him these days.
  14. The likes of Justin, Ricardo, KDH, Mavididi and Daka all had fantastic games minus one big error for some of them. That's a good sign and not really anyone who had a shocker (despite how people will now want to make that the narrative). The concern as I said before the game, is what does this say about our ability to compete against the teams around us, if we're in the Prem next year? We're not getting 10 new players so something big has to change mentality wise. We need a big response now where we win 5/6/7 in a row to assert our dominance and change the narrative a bit
  15. It absolutely doesn't, that's why it's called luck . Much like the most stupid saying I'm existence; you make your own luck . The point is that it is totally chance with no probability attached to it. But we certainly can't be sitting here thinking how unlucky we've been this season. Last night was incredibly unlucky but we've won plenty of games when we haven't been great and things to tend to go your way when you're at the top.
  16. Exactly. It's not his confidence so much it just seems that he can't forget about it and move on
  17. No he doesn't. He's clearly been told to be more conservative or had words about something else that is forcing him to do that. He was basically playing as a wing back today so that's not on him. Did nothing going forward on that we can agree but his decision making has been the very thing that separates him from most players his age
  18. Yeah me. Great in the first half minus one absolute bizarre bit where he didn't pass the ball for about 5 seconds and gave it away. Second half; awful. Made so many mistakes and caught out plenty of times
  19. Hahahaha. Quality
  20. They're embarrassing?!
  21. Should have buried it but he's being blatantly fouled.
  22. Justin has been quality (as have most of them)
  23. He has apart from that absolute brain fade when he had about 10 chances to pass and did nothing. Fatawu is definitely been given a word about something because he's lost confidence to take people on, especially on the outside
  24. This is the game to slow things down if ever there was one. Just get a little more control on things if possible.
