  1. Actually, half of those comments were directly related to style of play or comments replying to the those. Not every post has to be some meta analysis of tactics does it
  2. Again, a massive worry and comparison with Brent. Hoping that he will learn and show some willingness to adapt.
  3. At least it could galvanise Wednesday who's fans bloody deserve it with the state of their club. Inconsequential for us because we still have too much quality for the league. Could be useful if we are forced to play with more urgency.
  4. But will he admit it was too passive and sloppy? Probably not. And that's also a concern; he's so honest in some ways but then he's giving off major Rodgers vibes in other ways.
  5. It was actually the same in Rodgers last full season. We were absolutely dire that whole season but individual quality bailed us out. People talk about not having the players for this system is embarrassing. Enzo has inherited the best squad in the league and been able to bring in several players. If they can't do it at this level, then find a system to suit the players. That's just bad management.
  6. Same. It started off really so so and after a few games was starting to look really good. But it's been so bloody passive for the last 5+ games. Wednesday have totally deserved something
  7. Pathetic performance
  8. It's just the pace. He looks like he'd struggle with the pace of league 2. Mental he won a golden boot (or was it ball?) at an international youth cup yet he just cannot get up to the speed of any game at this level.
  9. He wasn't utterly dreadful (like Boro) and thought he was really good for most of the Leeds game but he's been a massive disappointment. Accept he's going to be hit and miss but initial signs were that he would have a fantastic season and be a good option for the Prem. Hopefully we see more of what he showed initially.
  10. Depends how you look at it. Needs a goal yes, but performance wise, he definitely isn't deserving of one.
  11. You mean when he was pulled back? Granted he probably still could have done a better job with the touch but that's obviously going to make it hard when running at full pace. He's been massively disappointing this season but as always with certain players, it's blown out of proportion on here. Watched the highlights again and I think he's involved in literally every single one before he was subbed off. Vardy scored 2 (a pen and a tap in) but missed 2 absolute sitters, worse than any Iheanacho has missed this season (who has obviously missed some guilt edge chances). No question that he needs to step it before he goes away in Jan.
  12. Maybe it's positive bias but my experience of non-white officials is that they are far better. Loved the way he reffed it today because he made his decision quickly and stuck to it. Didn't allow any nonsense to take place. Jarnail Singh was class back in the day as well
  13. Ha wouldn't you just know it
  14. And people think Iheanacho is poor. The f has happened to Vardy?!
  15. Yay, Casadei is on. Going to really help the pace of the game

Mine just arrived. Going to be a good boy and not play until Christmas! Shouldn't really matter but the box opening experience is really meh. When you pay a lot of money you expect something to feel really premium with nice packaging/presentation but it's just some cardboard thrown in. The Series X felt special and probably cost about 10p more to do. And we all know that that's the crown Microsoft really wanted; not the best games console but the best box opening
  17. Oh, I meant real top quality ones. If you get lucky they can all become good PL players but Braybrooke is the only one who can really become world class. Obviously matters a lot less on Touch or mobile where the game is easier so you can just stick to your favourites and tear it up
  18. It's always been like that though. I mean I had Wolves sign Winks for £35m when they were in the championship and he had barely played which is so stupid. Got Jonathan David on a free but sold him to Brighton for £60m 6 months later when they were in the Championship . Transfers have been broken for ages and they need a Rethink as it makes the game so easy. I think guys who have a great season, it's fair if a big time pays way too much for them but otherwise it's silly. You get Man City signing a player for £80m and then they play 3 games that season which is so unrealistic. And then the flip side is that the big clubs demand ridiculous fees for their youngsters they don't play. On my current save, Harvey Elliott has played tops 25 games in the past 3 seasons and yet Liverpool still want £95m for him. Makes no sense. As for KDH, you can't sell! Finding home-grown players harder than ever to get, let alone at club. He's the back up now (Zaire-Emery, João Neves and Ben-Seghir in those positions so thats why) but he's still really solid and develops nicely.

That Spiderman deal didn't work and neither did the next one I tried! But got it sorted with FF16 which is definitely one I wanted to play. But yeah, I'm sure I can pick up MM for cheap so will do that for sure. Might go back and finish Ghosts of Tsushima as well as I had open world fatigue when I played that last

Some pretty good black Friday deals so now might be the time to bite the bullet. Just about what game to get first. Since it's not my main console, plan to have one at a time so I can trade in when finished, much like I did with my PS4. One of the deals is with Spiderman 2 but feel like I want to play miles morales first. Then it's just all the obvious ones.
  21. Not convinced it is all down to tactics although it seems that there's no ability to play through balls/pass in behind if you have shorted passing (pass into space use to do this nicely). I'll share a screenshot later of Marcos Leonardo who I've got up top, because it's a very good version of him yet he hasn't scored in 10 league games this season and only 11 in 33 last year when we had the highest xg in the leagu (he's the kind of guy who's score 30+ in last year's game). He in fact had something like 19 for xg in the league so that's ridiculous to underperform like that. He seems to score disallowed offside goals a lot and the amount of blocks from 2 yards is stupid on this years game. Match engine generally much improved and more immersive, but because of that, it's making the oddities stand out more.
  22. Ah, what a great start to the season...
  23. The advantage of our shock (to the rest of the footballing world at least) relegation is that if and when we do go back up, players won't necessarily look at us as a newly promoted club but see it as an opportunity to move to one of the bigger clubs outside of the top 6/7. But the concern as I've said for a while and many others have said, is going to be how functional this style of football will be in the Prem. Not suggesting Maresca abandons it for a second, but he quickly needs to find more variations within the style if he wants to be successful. Let's be honest, he's done the hard bit of shifting the mentality and creating a great culture so the job is pretty easy now. Shocked by how bad the quality has been and with the players we have and the embarrassing divide in resources, failure to get promoted with the start we've had would be abysmal.
  24. Said in the match thread about Winks, Choudhury and Ricardo occupying the same space so would have probs brought on Casadei as uninspiring as he's been. Hooked Mavididi for anyone because he was pathetic. Dropped Nacho into the 10 and got Vardy/Cannon on. But I would definitely encourage the players to stand on the ball and take 5 seconds with a couple of minutes to go...
  25. What is his plan B then?
