He said one of. Not the most iconic.

Why was he on the right though? Albrighton was absolutely shocking and his preferred position is RM, Musa better on the left. Bizarre.

Hmmm, think the combat looks good but not sure how it will pan out. Still, heard lots of very encouraging things, namely that they're trying to match Witcher 3 in terms of side content (which would be amazing since that game is hands down the best I've ever played in terms of depth of story) and that they want to make it a more personal story. Playing through the trilogy again and despite the ending, ME3 is still an amazing game 5 years later.

Yet to actually see somebody say sell him? He's come into the team, in, let's be fair, shite circumstances. Had a couple of crackers and a lot of games where he looked so far out of his depth. He's settled down in the last few games and is looking decent. And despite my disagreement with you before, he has potential. How much? Not sure yet. Think today again shows that him and King aren't the issue (although it's not a good combo), it's more how we play as a collective in terms of our approach. As Col has said, if the team is more aggressive, he looks better.

This a million times. We do need another cm but I think it's way too simplistic and naïve to pin all the blame of the lack of quality in the middle; it's the mentality.
-
I saw something that impressed me today and it wasn't the goal. He was calming some of the players down (including Mr placid; Andy King). That's a mature quality that gives me a bit more faith in him.

Class is a strong word. Poor first half. Good second half. He should have the physical attributes but he doesn't display them. At the moment, he does not have the technical attributes. And the mental/tactical? That of an amateur footballer. Not totally dismissing for the future, but in that position at this level, even 1 game would be too many.

As I said in another topic - 'I always give players a chance and I'd loan him out for now but there has been no display of his potential. He just looks awful. He's weak, uncomfortable on the ball, tactically naïve, lethargic and at times looks bloody lazy.' Saw the tiniest glimpse on Tuesday of that power and energy we thought we were getting but him and King together was going to be painful unless he showed that again.

Struggling to think of a player in recent memory who is so far out of his depth. A million miles from being good enough at the moment, certainly in centre mid. Ship him out on loan.

Yes. If you plan on playing any other games/having a life. Still wouldn't say it's my favourite game ever but without a shadow of doubt, it is the best game I have played. The effort put into this is on another level. Think GTA in terms of diversity, content and writing, then notch it up a level. Just started playing it again after not playing for 3 months and I'm completely back into it. Every single sidequest has it's own cutscenes and dialogue. When I think about the effort put into this, it staggers me. Some games you really enjoy and want to plough through the story but at the same time you don't want it to be over too quickly. No danger of that here because of the length of story and the quality of everything else. Would genuinely be one of the best £25 investments you ever make and I'm not just talking about gaming. I quite like this game. Can you tell?

Won my very first game on Walker Assault as the rebels...

Beta is decent. Still has a slight Star Wars feel. Got to admit though, I think the omission of space battles/galatic conquest will stop me from ever loving it like the first 2.

I'm sure it's already been posted so delete if needed but I thought this was an interesting article. Obviously, it's been covered before but nice to see some recognition for our players. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3220155/Jamie-Vardy-Riyad-Mahrez-Shinji-Okazaki-Leicester-City-Premier-League-s-BARGAIN-HUNTERS.html

I think the variety is incredible. One of the missions has you playing a classic playground game we all played as Children! I love how the consequences aren't black or white, really adds something to the decision making process. I'd also advise everybody to go after the Witcher Gear. It looks better but more importantly, It's incredibly strong. The Feline/Cat one is the coolest looking at a low level but when you level them all up, they all pretty cool.

I was still dodgy when trying to avoid the drowners But then I realised you could use the crossbow. Normal bolts should be unlimited if you stick them in the slot on the inventory. Better bolts can be found and crafted I think. I haven't really bothered though, since the bow doesn't do that much damage.

One of the minor faults with this game are the swimming controls. When you dive, just hold the Square (X on XB1) and nothing else, not even the directional controls. Same applies for returning to the surface, just hold the circle (B) button. I make sure that I swim pretty far in and then dive down. Sometimes, the control prompts will tell you that you can dive but you can't properly. Oh and if you have the crossbow, equip it before you get it the water. You can use it to one shot kill drowners.
-
Just adding to that, once you brew them, you can automatically have them restocked when you meditate as long as you have Alcohest (I think its called). So its normally worth crafting every recipe at least once so then you don't need to worry about it afterwards.

Objectively speaking, this is probably the best game I've ever played. I wouldn't necessarily say its my favourite game (so far) but I can't think of a game with this variety and depth to it. Nothing feels like its there for the sake of it.

I don't care at all. As somebody said before, it reminds me of Red Dead. So much fun exploring and the amount of times you stop just to look at the view. Can't go 30 seconds without finding something to do! Have you got a high end PC for it? I've got it on Xbox One and it still looks ridiculous.

Sorry Beliall, I'm afraid I'll have to report you for leaving the information about your current quest on the screenshot. I'd hate for kingcarr to thing I was picking on him...
-
Yeah, I just spent as long as possible in the prologue, completing everything and will stretch out the first chapter as much as possible. I read that it should give you good forewarning about closing off any potential side-quests but not totally sure.
-
I just meant in General. Stripey said about the Baron, which is a spoiler of some description. Even then I could be pedantic and pick on the fact you said 'The' Griffin rather than 'a'. Like I said, I knew what the objective of the prologue was at the very start and I've reached the point of the Baron but others might not have. Glad to see that my decision to help minimise the risk of spoilers for others (who are silly enough to look on opened-ended forums) resulted in you taking it personally
-
Could we also keep the spoilers out for the next few weeks? Or cover it up like Beliall. It doesn't bother me, as I'm at the same point as you guys but some people will come in here looking for help/ starting out etc. and I wouldn't want to ruin anything. Especially since the story takes at least 60 hours to do, so nobody should be done for a while!

I love the petulance!
