Yep your right no Silver but the other Silva is there

Could send Stowell to Rotherham has had experience big being in charge before, seem to have plenty of backroom staff at present.
-
Wish the present owners where around when we built our stadium, would be very different to what we got which was a set model at the time. Hopefully with future expansion can put their stamp on it.

What the hell has happened to Moeen Ali a couple of years ago he was probably the first name on the teamsheet. His recent form has been diabolical, his bowling had been keeping him in the side but even this has been below par recently.
-
Agree totally, hopefully he will mature and with experience cut out the rash challenges, one thing for sure he has the right manager in place to guide him. Been really impressed since he came into the side and imo is vital to the high press that Brendan desires, exceptional last night although it was only a friendly.

The numbers worn last night are a good indication of the final draft only changes now will be if someone leaves their number will become free for new signings.

Would be amazed if Zaha went there think he is looking to stay in London, don't think he enjoyed the area when he was at united,

Maybe Leicestershire ain't that bad after all the test side are replicating the 1 day side of 4 years ago. The ashes is going to be a disaster if they cannot sort it out!

Valiant effort but 255 was never do-able, got to learn to contain teams to a realistic total heyho onto the next, good entertainment for the crowd any idea how many where there?

Loved the way we closed down right up to the final whistle, Choudhury is going to be so important this season, good stuff. -
Yorkshire look out of sight already!!! Thought we might win a couple but even this looks unlikely.
-
Looks a strong Yorkshire side going to be a big ask, unfortunately can only see a big loss but you live in hope.

I think he ment that the U21's would be back for tomorrows game i.e Maddison, Barnes, Gray, Choudhury, Benkovic and Pascanu. Be a game with different sides each half, the Stoke/Atalanta games will be more first team shaping etc and will give you more clues to the team facing Wolves imo

Seems to be the same every season that by the time we hit mid July the season is over. While we have no funds think it will be the same season after season. For me we have got to stop buying crap like Horton, Pettini and Carberry who have come to the end of their careers and looking for an easy finish Might be the same outcome but need to blood youngsters and give them a chance, can hardy do any worse.

We have won one this season addmitingly which was the 1st game but since then it has been down hill. I like Azad and Ackerman the rest are to inconsistent in the batting. Abbas has been good but the rest have been a bit hit and miss. I liked the look of Tom Taylor but hasn't been seen in ages is he injured? We have been in games yes but they have poor days in most games which cost them. Trouble is getting rid of 2 or 3 what do you replace them with? with no funds available.

Hard to see where the county go from here, whatever target we get you just know they will knock them off with overs to spare. Need new fresh blood but cannot afford it, massively need new investment but it is hardly a profitable commodity to entice the investment. Currently the county is at its lowest ebb in all forms of the game, gotta feel for Nicko must be so frustrated but some of the players are not up to it or past it.

Game abandoned, 1 point each bonus for the county
-
Weather may save them later!!! It's a our only hope Just looked at the squad for tonight's game, really is depressing compared to other counties. It s going to be a real struggle, no overseas signing is gonna hurt us.

More of a first team going to Stoke, depends if you want to see Youri and the boys, a u-23 side with the odd first teamer, or need to go to a specific ground to add it to your list. Been to Rotherham a couple years back so we are going to the Stoke game.

Looking back getting relegated to League 1 was the best thing at the time to happen, we had flirted with it for a couple of seasons before. Poor manager selection and a host of poor players leading to the inevitable, the most important process once it was confirmed was to appoint a quality manager with experience of the league and capable of taking the club forward. Enter Nigel Pearson you cannot under estimate the job he did at the football club, he stripped it down and built from the foundations without this we would not be where we are today. It has been an enjoyable ride since with some unbelievable highlights, but the OP in my opinion was correct are turn of fortunes started in league 1.

Good job it wasn't our Nige, could have been ostrich gate all over again

How you can lose a game after bowling out a team for 117 in the first innings is beyond me. Just not good enough and have to agree that people are getting fed up with getting beat every game and this hardly helps to generate a new fan base. Badly need some investment or it is only going to continue or get worse you have to worry for the county's future.
-
Must have been a better day for batting, they looked hopeless in the first innings, or bowling below standard. That's the problem with this side they are so inconsistent so frustrating because when they are on it they look a decent side, trouble is these days are few and far between.
