  1. I was more on about de Minaur he aint beating Sinner :-D best he can hope for is Medvedev beats Sinner in five and blows himself out in the process
  2. Yeah the learning curve is coming, will be interesting to see given his form and his current ability to actually stay fit.
  3. It is Easy, he's bang on form and Machac has been absloutley honking :-D
  4. Yeah Covid didn't exactly help either, nothing like being locked in your house with thousands of people dying round the world because of this strange disease that's popped up out of nowhere to totally distort your view on life. Oh and make you spend even more time using the internet.
  5. Erm, nah, de Minaur will be a massive favourite for good reason if they both get through, and I would say he could not beat anyone in the top 5 on their day no matter how well he plays. He should not be viewed as "Should" be making the semi final just because he's steam rolled three unseeded players, one of which was injured anyway. I mean it's not impossible for him to beat de Minaur by any stretch but it'd be a great result, he's only got a handful of wins against top 10 players in his career. You give him 2 years I imagine he'll be knocking on the top 10 himself at least I'd imagine, but right now Alex de Minaur would be a very tough game and an excellent win for him and I wouldn't be betting on him to beat him.
  6. Ah Yeah, Al, I miss Al, for the crime of calling out a full back that could only defend at League One or Two level, for being a full back that only actually was any good at defending at League One or Two level (and I'd say that was debatable half the time from what I saw) and in the end indeed only ever being good enough to play consistently at League One or Two level in this entire career, on a fans internet forum, I am completely guilty and I do deserve to be punished by means of a severe starring down at the Leicester Road Stadium. Al got his pound of flesh.
  7. Good business for Spurs, a requirement for us, I’m just genuinely interested how many of you fickle ****ers will carry on crowing on about him not being in the England squad tbh.
  8. Yeah, it’s going to be cut short by the looks of it and they are going to have to bat for some time to get any kind of declarable position. That said the weather and the wear and tear could make the pitch a far less favourable one for batsman.
  9. Fair play to them, somewhat overdue.
  10. FIF was a full blown idiot to be fair. And yeah we did fall out because the suggested he thought the reason I was pointing out Hamza Choudhurry was looking like a walking red card at one point was purley because he was Asian and I was being racist. Which to say was a bit of stretch even for him is an understatement.
  11. I mean I’m not defending the way the clubs dealt with this season but still..... “What we should do rather than what we will do” 😂. You don’t even understand the very basic footballing concept of “two banks of four” never mind the intricate workings of a professional football club so wind your neck in.
  12. Yeah I’d say yellow but it’s not one VAR would overturn.
  13. Club hasn’t dealt with the season very well at all. Failed to get players committed when it should of been done a long time ago. No matter what you think of rodgers if he was going he should of gone 2 months before he did or we should of stuck with him. We haven’t signed the right personnel, strengthened where we should of. I could go on but lessons need to be learned.
  14. How many of the premier league winning side were signed by Rudkin. Also, what’s his budget been this season,
  15. He does a bit yes but again, is there that much init to dish out a red card for endangering an opponent. Not for me, just about. Hes a lucky boy seen I’ve seen others walk for less.
  16. It’s a bad tackle. There’s just not enough velocity in it for it to be classed as endangering Soumare. We will be here all day. At the end of the day it’s one of those some people are going to think it is red some people are going to think it’s not.
  17. Nah violent conduct is head butting punching etc. I mark level four referrers mate I know the difference. The tackle certainly doesn’t use excessive force or brutality. Does it endanger Soumare, highly debatable as there’s a good argument he’s not hit him hard enough to do any damage.
  18. Oh it’s a tight one, far too high and nowhere near the ball. My opinion is irrelevant at the end of the day, I’m merely posting as this is the VAR thread and we no doubt have people blaming VAR for not over turning it I’m just saying it’s not a decision VAR is ever going to over turn as it’s not clear and obvious.
  19. Well it is relevant and something that needs to be taken into account by all officials concerned so take it up with the people who write the rules 😂
  20. He really hasn’t hit him with anywhere the amount of velocity to cause any kind of damage. Never mind “shatter” his knee cap. It really takes some going to shatter someone’s knee cap. Ask Roy Keane he had a pretty good go at it and failed.
  21. Force is relevant. it’s literally in the laws of the game. Which is what officials have to adhere to, and it’s not a red for me. Arguing about the laws of the game is different to arguing about if they have been implemented correctly or not. Blaming VAR is certainly a waste of time as it’s not what we would define as a clear and obvious error.
  22. There isn’t enough force in it to be a red. Well, I’ll put it this way, there’s nowhere near enough force for it to be over ruled by VAR if it’s not given on the field so VAR certainly isn’t to blame. Gone for the ball ended up going in studs up very high, one of those that could of gone either way but for me, as everyone favourite outspoken Mancunian said, he’s got it right, just. But VAR isn’t going to overrule that no matter what card gets pulled out.
  23. Interesting responses. Although not entirely surprised. Will be interested to see who’s talking about renewing if we are 15th in the championship in March next year, that’ll be the acid test.
  24. Ah yeah. Had one guy pass the ball all the way back to the keeper from kick like he was going to give the win, just for him to hold it and then boot it out for a corner and quit. 😂 Dedicated trolling I’ll give him that.
