English tifo/active fan group culture
Sol thewall Bamba replied to SemperEadem's topic in General Football and Sport
Feel it's been a poor year for the English fan scene in terms of the "active" groups. Palace and Boro have been relatively quiet and seen a lot of criticism of both online. Boro did do a cool display against Sunderland with fireworks behind the stand which was a first here. Ipswich have been quiet for their most high profile season in god knows how long. UFS quieter than the last couple of seasons admittedly too. Other than that the rise of "groups" which are essentially just a go fund me page and a twitter account is on the rise, Villa being the worst offenders this season. -
This is why it's so insane that so many perspective merchants are seemingly happy for us fade away back into a yo-yo club. The point I think you made about certain sections of the fanbase wanting others to experience the shit times just because they had to is interesting and I think accurate based on my experiences. Weird to want future generations to experience Hereford at home more than Atletico away.

Made it until 8.19am before I remembered we were playing tonight. Day ruined! -

I'll be honest I didn't fact check it. I just saw it and it fit my agenda so I just posted it. -
Mentored by Conor Coady?

Sooner the better as long as it isn't at the City ground.

6 non penalty goals in 27 Championship apps this season. -
Ben Dawson and Danny Alcock - Left the club

I've just looked up his comments when he first joined. "“I think the depth of the squad is very good as well,” the Oss-born former striker added. “There are two players in every position of good quality. There’s young, emerging talents, with very experienced players" "It’s a stable club, you can see within the leadership structures that it’s all good and organised and with an idea. Also, the squad, of course, is exciting with young emerging talents, also experienced players… a good mixture.” So there are a few possibilities as to why he's done a 180 in 3 months: - He did poor research in the first place - He's just covering his arse - The players aren't having ANOTHER manager and aren't playing for him and he's throwing them under the bus - He's a shit coach Or any mixture of the above. -
Because anyone that doesn't have a membership is a hardened football hooligan and the club don't want you. That of course all changes if you give them £35.

£40m combined to be worse than literally 99% of the rest of the league. -
I find it crazy that people still moan about it. It's one of the few authentic parts of our stinking "matchday experience".

I bet you couldn't name 3 players (other than Hamza and Cannon) on the two benches combined without looking.

As much as Vards was the personification of our rise, I think he's the personification of our fall. Overpaid, arrogant, doesn't care, wants to leave.

Weird that Cannon can't get a game for Sheffield Utd when he was apparently the saviour for LCFC. -

Haha this has to be a wind up right? We won the league for the first ever time and the owners carried the trophy round the pitch with a photo of the Thai king being held up behind them.
