  1. As a sign of repsect I think the Leicester team should all wear black armbands, when the sad day does happen. Hayley is an adopted Leicester fan.
  2. To save me from reading all 42 pages can someone please tell me if animals now have the right to vote?
  3. The man who plays Roy Cropper? Roy Cropper is real. He isn't an actor. Infact Coronation Street is all real. It's a "Fly on the wall" documentary.
  4. I'm not a massive fan of Humbug, I do like a few of their tracks off it but not too many. Suck it & see is worth a listen however. As for the new album - I listen to it all the way through last night. I must admit after the first listen I thought it was ok. Second time round it got better and after about 6 or 7 listens it's still getting better and better. The sounds it totally diferent again, which is what impresses me most about them but with Alex Turners clever and witty lyrics, it still sounds like traditional Arctic Monkeys tracks (if that makes sense).
  5. Went to see them live when they were touring the "Suck it & See" album. Very good live. You will enjoy it!
  6. Love all their albums. Each one is different to the other yet it still works. Refused to listen to AM until its out but I have heard a few of the album tracks and they sound great. Having said that, as I type I'm getting so tempted to give it a listen! Surely another Number 1 album?
  7. Agreed. I take great pleasure on waiting Celtic lose, although they aint my rivals being a Leicester fan, I just have a genuine hatred for the club. Funnily enough I had to endure Celtic v Rangers in the Celtic end a couple of seaons ago. Painful experience.
  8. I hope Celtic fail miserably..
  9. Paul Konchesky
  10. The ex said this to me YEARS ago. Her Grandparents were running a caravan and camping site in Scotland. Thats not the story btw... The ex: Oh my nan is making a fortune selling cream out there Me: Cream? What sort of cream? The ex: Well it prevents those annoying midgets. Me: What?!! Midgets? What the hell are you going on about?! The ex: You know them bloody flying midgets... Me: Thing you mean midges dear. The thought of Scotland having a "flying midgets" problem makes me chuckle still to this day. God she was dumb...
  11. Looks as though Rendall Munroe will be stepping back in the ring then... http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/EXCLUSIVE-Leicester-boxer-Rendall-Munroe-shock/story-18686009-detail/story.html#axzz2QEhSRSYA Hopefully at a heavier weight he will add extra power to his punches, aswell as being more punch resistant. If he can keep his speed up too, there will certainly be a few great opportunities for him.
  12. Breaking Bad is amazing. Nearly finished series 4. Been trying to take my time with it abit as I don't want it to end too soon and be without a good series to watch. As my dad's a chemist I've been asking him to secretly teach me how to "cook"...joking of course
  13. Reports suggest legendary trainer Manny Steward has passed away! http://www.worldboxingnews.net/2012/10/legendary-trainer-emanuel-steward-has.html
  14. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2219781/Freddie-Flintoff-shows-impressive-physique-ahead-boxing-debut.html Freddie's looking in great shape for his debut. Lets see if he likes to be hit!
  15. http://www.worldboxingnews.net/2012/10/glen-johnson-interested-but-says.html Seems a bit strange that Groves would announce the fight, along with Frank Warren, yet his opponent seems non the wiser!
  16. Looking forward to it, great day of sport with cricket, playoffs, champions league and boxing. Just wish Kahn fight wasn't called off! Price to win in my eyes. Like you say it will be a good test. But he looks strong and a good performance here will hopefully open the door for him to move further forward in the ranks.
  17. Love The Sopranos and currently watching Entourage. On series 7 out of 8, bloody addictive!
  18. Two of my mates took some turf too, so with there turf & your turf, we are part of the way to re-creating Filbert Street. Plus there was never much grass in the penalty area so we are nearly there.
  19. Haha thanks for pissing on my post. A lot more informative tho, cheers!
  20. May 11th 2002, exactly 10 years to the day we played our final ever league match at Filbert Street, against Spurs. http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~217367,00.html - Link 1 to photos from the game http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~217401,00.html - Link 2 more photos from the game I'm sure there is hundreds of posts regarding Filbert Street, but I really can't belive that its 10 years since we left. So much has changed since then, I do miss it as it reminds me of my youth (even though I am still young), but we had so many good memories. Maybe share some of them? I remember my first game at Filbert Street in the mid 90's. I'd already been to an away game at Reading where I just ran around the terraces like a nutter but sitting still proved to be a problem at the all seated Filbert Street. I managed to trap my finger in the seat during the game and managed to miss a goal as my dad tried to calm me down. Then I needed to go toilet at some point and we managed to miss another goal, however my dad dragged me out the toilets and I seem to remember him throwing me a mile into the air. Can't really remember much else, my dad doesn't remember who it was against either. Either way trapping my finger in the seat or the lovely smell of the toilets got me hooked...
  21. I know it doesn't belong here so move as you please... ALERTS TO THREATS IN 2012 EUROPE By John Cleese The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent events in Syria and have therefore raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved." Soon, though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross." The English have not been "A Bit Cross" since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies nearly ran out. Terrorists have been re-categorized from "Tiresome" to "A Bloody Nuisance." The last time the British issued a "Bloody Nuisance" warning level was in 1588, when threatened by the Spanish Armada. The Scots have raised their threat level from "Pissed Off" to "Let's get the Bastards." They don't have any other levels. This is the reason they have been used on the front line of the British army for the last 300 years. The French government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "Run" to "Hide." The only two higher levels in France are "Collaborate" and "Surrender." The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability. Italy has increased the alert level from "Shout Loudly and Excitedly" to "Elaborate Military Posturing." Two more levels remain: "Ineffective Combat Operations" and "Change Sides." The Germans have increased their alert state from "Disdainful Arrogance" to "Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs." They also have two higher levels: "Invade a Neighbour" and "Lose." Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual; the only threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels. The Spanish are all excited to see their new submarines ready to deploy. These beautifully designed subs have glass bottoms so the new Spanish navy can get a really good look at the old Spanish navy. Australia, meanwhile, has raised its security level from "No worries" to "She'll be alright, Mate." Two more escalation levels remain: "Crikey! I think we'll need to cancel the barbie this weekend!" and "The barbie is cancelled." So far no situation has ever warranted use of the last final escalation level. John Cleese: British writer, actor and tall person A final thought: Greece is collapsing, the Iranians are getting aggressive, and Rome is in disarray. Welcome back to 430 BC. I find it funny anyway
