  1. We give mad contracts to players who we then can’t shift. What makes people think we don’t do the same for managers?
  2. There is zero reason to take Daka off and leave Vardy on
  3. I know he’s atrocious but at least Daka is putting himself about and getting himself into decent positions. Better than anything others have done in the past 2 months.
  4. At least two Leicester lads have done alright today (Barnes and the ref).
  5. Ricardo dropped
  6. If Arsenal win every game (they won’t), Liverpool would need to win 5 of their last 9
  7. Have you not seen the stuff regarding a new stadium? It’s still pretty toxic there.
  8. Big six isn’t really a thing anymore is it. On every metric, Newcastle are probably ahead of spurs.
  9. Yes it is, he’s stood right in front of the keeper
  10. It’s a sad indictment on the league that this Liverpool team are going to win the league by so much
  11. Young people are despised in the country. They’re seen as ungrateful purely for aiming to have the same opportunity as their forebearers. How dare we.
  12. Sorry, I misinterpreted what you said. You’re right and the aging thing is correct. Given how the older generation are much more politically engaged just makes things even more difficult. There was a furore over the winter fuel allowance, let’s see if the older folk are as sympathetic to the cause of younger people with disability having their welfare funds frozen while the triple lock goes up.
  13. It’s not hard to invest in defence and also not cut things like PIP. I know there’s little crossover in terms of where the money is coming from but the optics for the politically disengaged are obvious. The obvious solution is to pay for both by wealth tax if it really is that big of an issue, then those with the actual money should pick up the bill. Or maybe we need a bit more mental health stigma, outlining how those that can’t work are feckless and lazy, destroying the country while simultaneously hyping that Russia will invade the country next week. The two biggest threats the economy of this country, the disabled and Putin.
  14. What’s the bigger threat to the UK do you think? The Russian geo-sphere or escalating inequality?
  15. I don’t really know what’s lying in the Leinster depths but 9 and the centres seem like positions where the drop off is huge, and the back row is nowhere near as good as a few years back.
  16. You keep pushing your cope down the road though. First of all it was that they’d collapse second half of the season, and while they’re not winning every week, they’re not collapsing. Other teams are crap too. Of course they will likely struggle for obvious reasons but it’s still gonna sting.
  17. Ireland have been dreadful this tournament aside from 20 minutes v England and 40 minutes v Scotland. The decline has begun.
  18. It is crazy how they literally just lump the ball up to wide men and it causes so many problems.
  19. Forest are gonna be in Barcelona while we’re in Stockport.
  20. This is what happened this week. USA got Ukraine to fully submit to negotiate on their behalf. USA put the ceasefire offer forward knowing full well that wasn’t going to be accepted. Then the way Zelenskyy and Polydak were treating was that as soon as Russia initially rejected it, they thought Trump would be like “well Russia rejected it and have no interest in peace, here’s our nukes” (I exaggerate). But we shall see what happens next. US are just not going to escalate militarily, maybe economically is absolutely necessary.
  21. I think the Biden admin would’ve ended up in this position anyway. We’ve just got there quicker now.
  22. Exactly, which is why the war will very likely continue because I don’t think either side is willing to compromise enough. I think our side was very much trying to play a ‘gotcha’ with Putin this week but it was far too easily telegraphed and the Americans didn’t fall for it. Russia is obviously not going to accept a Ukrainian devised ceasefire.
  23. Starmer is still utterly delusional if he thinks Russia will agree to a ceasefire that sees British and French troops then roll into Ukraine.
  24. There’s plenty of local non league clubs playing at an ok level to get behind depending on where you live in the county. North - Quorn (absolutely flying), Shepshed West - Barwell, Leicester Road, Coalville south - Harborough Citeh - Ansteh, Aylestone Park If you’re disillusioned with the city, support them. Ask all the lads that are involved in clubs like that how much of a positive impact it’s had on their life since they swapped the city for it. It’s about being part of something again, community, mates, affordable pints, good football etc.
  25. Does Rishi have a hundred contract w again?
