  1. That’s one where even with VAR you’d want to see them go with whatever the lino thinks.
  2. Hahah he waited all the way until he got into the box to fall down. Idiot.
  3. Yunus has been bloody superb.
  4. Man I just love seeing how confident Mcateer has become so quickly.
  5. Haha idiots, way to anger the motor industry’s long term plans all so you can make a few angry baby boomers who spend too much time online happy.
  6. Barnes seems out of favour already.
  7. Post-Rodgers has been great for re-establishing some connection with the club again. I think the Enzo excitement has definitely helped. In terms of the sport in general I agree it’s incredibly stale. The Premier league is awful (even when we were part of it), but non-league is thriving and further afield, it’s a good opportunity to see some teams abroad where fan culture is a lot more authentic.
  8. How did that Milan squad get to the semi-finals last season? Newcastle should be looking for a comfortable win tonight.
  9. The saddest thing about all of this argument is that it is one or the other. Johnson and Corbyn are both massively flawed politicians. In 2019 for whatever reason Johnson was trusted more than Corbyn. But it doesn't mean that the choice wasn't absolutely horrific and is damning indictment on our politics.
  10. With England (and Wales) first warm up game this weekend, and the tournament a month away, I thought I might start the thread. The Group Stage draw is a disgrace with the top 5 sides all on the same side of the draw, meaning only 2 will make the semi's. That's why it's a bad idea to do a draw three years out from the tournament. Group A France New Zealand Italy Uruguay Namibia Group B Ireland South Africa Scotland Tonga Romania Group C Australia Wales Fiji Georgia Portugal Group D England Argentina Japan Samoa Chile I think France have to be the favourites on home soil, however Ireland have been amazingly consistent recently and are world no.1's for a reason. New Zealand have also looked fearsome over the past few weeks. I'd be surprised if one of those three didn't win it.
