Gonna have to watch this again, there are a few really slow slow burn anime's around that are bloody good in the second half of the series and Shi-ki is one of them, the sound track is beautiful too. Basically it's a Japanese Salems Lott but the village does not go down without a fight, pretty much everyone loses. Also SteinsGate and From the New World are really good slow burn anime's. Another slow burn anime Ergo Proxy........

Psycho Pass, the first season at least was a good cyberpunk Anime. A future utopian Japan, policed by the Cybil system and it's enforcement officers armed with smart weapons that can read a persons emotional intent so they can arrest criminals before they act. From the start you get to see things are not what they should be as you follow a new recruit enforcing the law but it is ep.11 that really shows how messed up this system is. massive spoilers here btw.

Decided to watch another old Coen brothers movie I'd not seen in decades this evening, Raising Arizona, this and the Hudsucker Proxy are certainly two of their most inventive and slightly manic pieces. The banjo theme is awesome by the way....

Got myself a Coen brothers 4 movie set, mainly for one movie that I had not seen since the late 90's. Still a brilliant and gorgeous looking movie with a superb cast.

There's a fair few videos on Youtube about this stuff, basically, you can go on the BBC website and tell them you do not need a license, be careful though since they word questions in such a way to try and catch you out but if you do not watch LIVE TV or BBC i player you do not need a license. The BBC though like to bully people so you have to be careful.

Just heard how my nieces wedding went last week, I could not attend so missed it. The father of the bride vanished, holding everything up, then popped up to say he'd dropped his phone down the toilet, amongst other things but what made me laugh was the groom was a Liverpool fan. The couple specifically told everyone not to wear any club colours to the wedding. One of my other nieces boyfriend turned up wearing a LCFC jacket and photobombed as many pics as possible, my sis said he did it by accident you just know he didn't. I know it was wrong but I just found it so funny.
