  1. They way we pressed when we lost the ball was very different to Southgate. Immediately went all out to try and retrieve the ball. Played more direct passes over the top as well. Also Tuchels assessment of the game was pretty spot on also. Was quite critical of Foden and Rashford
  2. Definitely got here faster. Although if it's just Americans trying to strong arm the Ukrainians into accepting a terrible deal that Russians have cooked up, as seems the way so far, then it ain't much to shout about.
  3. Yeah I don't think he believes they will either. This is mainly just trying to help the Ukrainians negotiating power. The Americans miners suggestion is utterly delusional aswell and stands no chance and the Russians as far as I can see haven't compromised on anything at the minute.
  4. I didn't say it was efficient. I said it was one of the most efficient healthcare systems in the world which it is. It's the 7th largest organisation in the whole world for crying out loud of course there's going to nonsense and fluff and bloat in it that doesn't mean the whole thing is inefficient. I think you are falling for some of the tabloids rhetoric here tbh. Its 'full of middle management' and all that kind of rubbish. In my opinion, if private business is so efficient there wouldn't be an NHS in the first place.
  5. This is all true and reform should always be on the agenda for the nhs. Yet we should always remember that it remains one of the most efficient healthcare services in the developed world and big business is always very inefficient aswell. I'm sure many of us have been in god knows how many meetings about a meeting in private companies
  6. Yeah saw that and thought it's bang on. Social fairness Vs old order
  7. That hasn't been the narrative in the last three years at all. There was a period of about 6 months to maybe a year when there was talk of a Ukrainian counter offensive and possible Ukrainian victory. For the last 18 months there's been a narrative of Ukraine collapsing very soon or the war never ending. I think that the main reason for 'panic stricken' responses is because of the US geopolitical shift personally and waning enthusiasm for pax anericana policing
  8. No there isn't. The collective will is to arm ourselves to a point that any war with Russia, Russia couldn't conceivably win. Russia nor us actually want a war.
  9. Does anyone actually think that? Everyone understands two nuclear powers warring is not a good idea.
  10. Almost like they are doing you know..... diplomacy Something that it's pretty evident Trump and the US has been doing plenty of
  11. I think Europe will turn away from the us towards India and China now. China are the real winners here. This is just the beginning of the end of Pax Americana
  12. Yup. Perfect time for some wealth taxes I think
  13. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/wild-beavers-natures-engineers-to-return-to-english-waterways Hallelujah Hopefully get a few more major species reintroduced soon aswell
  14. That is all true. Although to be clear Russian forces have been shown to be pretty basic if not more so in all of those European gaps tbf. Also I think where any war takes place is also very important with regards tech, logistics command structures etc. it would seem plausible any coordinated European armed forces would be mainly of a defensive nature which would make it slightly easier to navigate those issues.
  15. I'm absolutely loving it. Just got to second region after 55 hours and that's after I've rushed the last bit doing nothing but main missions for the last 5-10 hours. Don't need to of played the first one to play this. They have a video on YouTube with a recap of the first game but you get some context given at the start of the second game aswell
  16. It's done in a pretty decent way tbf. I found the combat and the game in general slightly easier then the last one so that kinda fits in and works in quite a immersive way. At least for me
  17. The start is very slow. Think you have to have a bit of patience and commit a fair amount of time to it aswell. Definitely not a game where you just switch it on for an hour at a time You can switch it on and then spend 40 minutes brewing potions before you know it. Or if you got to an area unprepared you could easily lose 30 odd minutes when you die and you go back to the latest save (especially if your just exploring). When you do missions it's not so bad as KCD2 tends to save more then I remember KCD 1 autosaving. I spent one evening just gathering herbs and brewing Saviour Schnapps, Marigold Decoctions and Aqua Vitalis so I'm always prepared. My alchemy skill jumped about 20 levels
  18. It's quite slow. In the same way Red Dead 2 is. Combat can still be quite punishing and clunky but it's simpler with just 4 directions rather then 6 on KCD 1. I'm absolutely in love with it. KCD 1 I did enjoy but there was moments where it felt like a bit of a chore to do it which I've not had in this one so far. 45 hours into.
  19. Haha yeah that's exactly what I was referring to. Feel like you're getting to grips with the combat and then some relatively insignificant enemy knocks you back down to earth. I've done about 25/30 hours so far and don't really feel like I've progressed that much due to the nature of the quests.
  20. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Loving it. Like the original but improved everything incrementally. Combat still as brilliant and infuriating as ever
  21. 89 on metacritic so far. Pre ordered for 52.99 on Amazon. Don't usually pre order but that's a decent price and these smaller developers need the help more so don't begrudge them the money. https://www.metacritic.com/game/kingdom-come-deliverance-ii/
  22. Been playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance whilst I'm waiting for the sequel to come out
  23. It's necessary I'm not denying that. It's also quite ugly compared to the countryside
  24. Farmland is not beautiful countryside but rather a rural industrial estate
  25. Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. Seemed a pointless upgrade when announced but they clearly put a lot of effort into it and at £10 to upgrade I think it's worth it. I never completed the Frozen Wilds dlc before either so might aswell jump back in
