We've never had a relationship since KPtook over. Yes Vichai has given huge amounts to the community. But they've never explained anything that they intend doing. We only knew about the training ground because they needed planning permission. The same goes for the stalled ground improvements. They only talk to us about stuff that makes them KP look great. Anything that makes it look like they are going backwards gets ignored until it's forgotten. Vichai was a great man. But personally KP can fvck right off to OHL and take Rudkin with them. This ownership is only here now to massage its own ego. Top don't care about the club just himself. Between the prospect of the return of VAR and the showing from our owners they are destroying my love for football and our great club. It's not just Rudkin KP ain't fit to run this club now.

Selling the club won't make us competitive. We are so far behind the rest of the prem. PSR rules stop you spending. We need other forms of revenue ie the ground expansion the arena and hotel to start with. Also realistic sponsorship deals not 2 or 3m from the owners.

Exactly. If Doris turns up late with the tea loads on here would blame Rudkin. Very few blame Susan and about 1% blame Top. The football side is Rudkin and Top. The financial side is Susan and Top. But ultimately any major decisions are down to Top with a little influence from Rudkin or Susan or both.

No he's a director of football. So as long as he sticks to his budget that's all that matters. Do you think he's in meetings with corporate sponsors. Do you think he negotiates the KP sponsorship. Perhaps if he does all of what you say it explains why he's shit at his own job.

Explain his remit? If you can you must have written his contract. Not that long ago Simon Jordan was asked to explain the job of a DoF. He explained what he would expect. Then added the job is different in practically every club. It is what the owner wants them to do. None of us know exactly what his remit is we just presume what it is and expected of him. Also it's not his fault players like Youri want to run down a contract. I also doubt he has the sole say when offers come in and we refuse them. So anyway back to the original point. Correct to a point. He can't override the financial director or the chairman. So if this whole mess is his doing then Top needs to be first out the door for letting him get away with it.
