I still don't see how the PL can sanction us for 23-24. They've changed the rules recently but surely any decent lawyer would argue that you can't retrospectively enforce new rules. The EFL could potentially though and that's where our issues may lie.

RVN has been putting out? The cheeky minx. Who's he been putting out with? Top? Rudkin? Whelan? All of the above? The plot thickens.

Aside from the owner situation, we are a million miles ahead of Wednesday in every area. Training facilities, youth academy, finances (yes we have some issues potentially with PSR, but our owner does have/will spendmoney) playing squad etc etc. Whilst this season has been hideous, we still have a squad capable of doing well next season. We know we need a striker and a few other areas need strengthening but we still have some good players for that level plus some exciting youth players to integrate into the first team. Rohl knows he's not getting a prem gig, so the likes of us and Southampton (already got Still I know) would be the most attractive options outside the prem.

Or to save money, we just rotate between different foxestalk members each game. I don't mind taking over for a match if needed. Just need to check my diary though and make sure the wife is alright with it.

I'm not denying that the psr rules are preventing "smaller" clubs from competing at the top, but some on here seem to use it as an excuse for the club being a mess. Even if you took psr away and Top have us £300m to spend on signings, I wouldn't trust Rudkin to use it wisely. I get what you're saying about Brentford and Brighton etc but Palace are another example and they've just won the fa Cup. I certainly wouldn't swap our recent history with any other club but right now, I'd happily swap places with Brentford or Brighton etc and be a well run club in the top half of the prem. And as for investors, there would be loads. Look at Wrexham and Birmingham. Not as attractive as we are as clubs, but they've managed to get wealthy backers.

I'd throw Ricardo in there. He's struggled with injuries but I feel he's always been a fans favourite. He's one of very few in the current squad that i actually like.

Not quite true though is it. It's not necessarily some multi billionaire we need, we just need someone who actually knows how to run a football club. Teams can succeed without having to spends 100s of millions. We did it once and now the likes of Brighton and Brentford have done well with their recruitment but not spent a fortune. We've wasted hideous amounts of money of terrible players and shocking contracts being handed out. You can throw as much money as you like at the club, if the people spending that money are completely incompetent then the club will never succeed, regardless of the dodgy PSR rules.

Absolute joke club! I'd argue they are actually in a worse state than we are.

Edouard joins permanently for a fee of £20m on 90k per week wages, 5 year contract. New contracts for Vester, Soumare and Daka. Hermansen sold to Chelsea and Danny Ward brought back when we realise we are short of keepers but have spent our whole budget on Edouard. Rudkin masterclass.

Loophole closed for teams going forward from when the rule was changed. I find it hard to believe they would be able enforce a new rule for a time period when the rule wasn't in place. Nick De Marco will piss all over these useless feckers again. I honestly think these daft bastards at the PL are as incompetent as our board.

He's awful. His style doesn't work as he cannot set up a defence at all. Even last season, the amount of goals Southampton conceded was appalling. Birmingham got relegated and they only conceded 2 more than Southampton. Just because he might be better than RVN is not a reason to hire him. We need someone considerably better than both. His arrogance and stubbornness will also be his undoing. No good trying to play "the right way" when you're getting pumped every week and conceding at least 3 goals..
