Monga to Man City £10 Million - Official.
jayfox26 replied to Aus Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Still keep hearing fans moaning saying things like "we always sell our youth talent" and " we always sell our best players". Literally every team in the world does this unless you are Real Madrid. There is and always has been a pecking order. We are nowhere near the top of it and we dont have a choice but to sell players. Its good that we are actually trying to get some money into the club as we cant keep being in a cycle of ffp charges and potential points deductions. £10m for Monga is decent, hoping that we also have a sell on clause in the deal. There are many things to moan about our club, selling Monga for £10m isnt one of them. -
I think the current Brazil squad has a fair few unlikeable players which makes them an easy target for criticism. Vini and Neymar are not very well liked and there are a fair few others. Bruno G is a bit of a rat as well.

What's the ruling about VAR and goals from free kicks? Their first goal clearly wasnt a foul by Saka and the resulting free kick ended up with them scoring. If that non foul isnt clear and obvious, then how is the Kane pen clear and obvious. Doesn't matter now, but it is concerning that there is still a huge issue with var and refereeing

The fact we are in league one is because we have a dreadful owner and a terrible board. Its nothing to do with the academy. The fee we got for Monga or any other player is nothing to do with the academy. That again falls onto one our useless board members, John Rudkin. However £10m isnt that bad. Monga has done very little yet at 1st team level, but he is very young and clearly has raw talent. If we were still in the prem, or even a top championship side, and/or had a decent financial situation, then we could potentially have pushed for more money.

Henry Cartwright sold to Bradford City - Official
jayfox26 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Do I have confidence in the transfer decision makers at our club? No Do I have confidence that Henry Cartwright would go on to be a first team regular at our club? No With this in mind, this transfer doesn't particularly bother me either way -
Yeh we've gone from having a team of leaders like Huth, Morgan, Fuchs, Kasper, Vardy to having zero leaders. This affects things both on and off the pitch. No voices on the pitch and nobody setting the standards/culture around the club. We also have no leaders running the club which has lead to a lack of standards and professionalism at every level.
-
Id imagine the club and the players agents will be doing everything possible to move them on. Even if they leave for free and we just accept any loss on them, its better than having them around. We will never move forward as a club if the bad eggs are still here. Kristiansen needs shifting as well

Should be sacked as well.

Amazing news that Andy Hughes has finally gone. Did we not have a fitness coach before as no mention of one leaving? Fitness and set pieces were 2 of our biggest issues last season. We were horrific at defending and attacking set pieces and the fitness levels were the worst I've ever seen. These lot made Ian Marshall look fit.

We are bad on the transition and thats been agaisnt Ghana (very average) and Panama (very poor). Croatia showed how bad we are but they were defensively worse than us. France, Spain, Argentina and a few others wouldnt afford us the same luxury.

We have some bang average players in the squad. Pickford dodgy, defence awful, wingers lacking quality, only decent areas we have is the midfield and Kane

Wout Faes signs for Leicester - Official
jayfox26 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Or maybe fans have good reason to dislike him. Whilst none of us know him personally, people can make judgements on players based on their attitude, actions, body language etc. Hes never come across that he wants to be here and that never sits well with fans. Whilst it would be naive to think that is the dream of every player to play for Leicester, we do expect players to show fight and commitment Whilst they are getting highly paid by our club and he and many others have failed to show this, time and time again.- 513 replies

Wout Faes signs for Leicester - Official
jayfox26 replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
Imagine how motivated Faes will be to play for us in league one. -
Whilst you can praise Ghana for their work ethic and defensive solidity, they made it an absolute bore fest. Of course they will be happy to have taken a point but for fans, it was a dreadful watch!
-
Oh yeh forgot they outbid Bayern

I fear we wont go far in this tournament if Madueke and Gordon are our starting wingers as neither of them are very good. I know Saka has been carrying an Injury so they've not wanted to risk him but Gordon is genuinely one of the most over rated players in world football. I cannot believe the money Barce have spent on him.

We actually need to win this to complete English football. Other than winning league 2 but they can fck off getting us relegated again the useless tw@ts

If the real Ronaldo actually had 2 functioning knees, hed have probably been better than Messi as well. Both Messi and CR7 have had lucky careers in terms of injuries.

I dont think this has ever been in doubt unless you ask the CR7 fanboys

Toxic club - an inconvenient truth about our fans
jayfox26 replied to LeePhilpottsBaldSpot's topic in Leicester City Forum
People have their views on Martin because of his previous record, his philosophy and style of play and the fact hes not a particularly likeable individual. -
Toxic club - an inconvenient truth about our fans
jayfox26 replied to LeePhilpottsBaldSpot's topic in Leicester City Forum
Our fanbase is largely passive. No other clubs fans would have put up with the shit show weve seen over the last few years
