I think this is the crux of why we play as we do. In sure Enzo would love it if we had teams coming to attack us week in week out and commit men forward and to play a fast paced counter attacking style but you just can't play that way against teams coming to defend en masse. In some ways our title winning team when we were underdogs and could play on the break has had a twofold effect, firstly it has ruined our patience for this style of play and secondly it has made us a big dog where teams will now come to Leicester to try and pick up a point so we have to play this way.

Yeah I think you may be right. They were never going to be able to sustain this with their all out attack style and their players are mid table at best really, it's the manager and momentum that is keeping them up there. TBF if they make the playoffs, which they look extremely good for, they've done fantastically well. And I think given time to reflect their fans would see it that way too. Think they'll be a force next season too IF they can keep McKenna whch is quite the if.

Not generally a fan of WBA (the team, rate their fans) and love me some Ipswich but I guess this is the best result for us. Wheels falling off the tractor as of late TBH.

Yeah well said. Got to assume people wanting Vesty in there have never played football. Kdh is probably too one footed to be receiving the ball at all angles whilst being pressed as a pivot. Hamza is probably the best option we have. It's a shame we don't still have Mendy really he'd have done all right.

well I fully hope you're right and in a season when the promoted teams were vaguely competent you'd have a poinnt (like next season looks likely to be) but they are just 2 points behind the mighty force of Luton Town in 17th. Pretty sure they'll survive by at least 10.

To say he's run out of material and should think about refreshing his repertoire would be kind. Edit - took a look at the comments fully expecting others to be saying the same thing and it's full of people posting sincere crying with laughter emojis saying it's one of his best videos some bloke referred to it as 'world class' and they all loved a joke about him not being able to afford underpants. The PL will have been monitoring how the table progressed, and picked their time carefully, as they will want to ensure no points deduction leads to actual relegation of a 'big' team and potential serious court proceedings. Funny how as soon as Everton start winning games and look like an actual team and get some distance from the bottom 3 (who are absolutely woeful) they release this 'punishment' . Totally contrived. An absolute joke. Of course last year when Everton were in actual serious danger there was not a chance of any punishment but you can bet your bottom dollar if they had been safely in mid table towards end of the season it would have been applied then and they would have picked a reduced points total that would have kept their heads well clear of water too.

Appreciate you're just fishing for reactions here and I've bitten but Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka and Tim Cahill say hello. Pretty sure he's not even the best player in their current team. All that said I do rate Souttar and can see him stepping up to first choice at some point if he can bide his time.

Thing is KDH is extremely one-footed and lots of left footed players seem to be, but then on the other hand we've had players in the last few years off the top of my head who were just as one footed such as Ulloa, Chilwell, Ritchie de Laet, Wes Morgan But the real reason he gets so criticised is he plays in the centre of the park where you can't get away with it. Cant remember us having too many central midfielders this one footed recently if ever.

I can understand why people don't like it, but it's mighty fine now and then imo. Agreed with @AKCJ that the good turkish delight which is cubed and dipped in icing sugar is better than the mass produced chocolate covered stuff.

absolutely. We need a hold up striker / target man if you will, someone who can receive the ball back to goal under pressure with defenders all around, Patson Daka is NOT that man, Vardy isn't either, Kel should be more suited but he blows hot and cold.

Daka is definitively not the answer - very limited player and is totally ineffective in a possession team.
