It's more the consequences of not going up, the possibility of becoming another Derby. If you could guarantee we'd go up the following season then yes I'd take the fa cup but this season is our chance to bounce back with limited damage to our standing in the game, we become a minnow again if we don't get back to the PL soon
-
I'd take finishing 2nd and going up over the fa cup. Sad but true. The consequences of not going up are so dire an fa cup will not make it worth it
-
It's gonna be Wolves / Brighton at home. I called Bournemouth away last time.
-
Is now at last using his size and frame to physically impose himself. And he has always had the tekkers and good feet. At this rate We will be getting a big money offer end of the season for him

Luke Thomas to Middlesbrough until the end of the season

It's jealousy pure and simple -
Ah shit that's true wba home is always a problem fixture for us. Bizarrely we win at the Hawthorns year after year though. It's a really strange dynamic.

Leeds United (A) 3-1 - Post-Match Thread
Arriba Los Zorros replied to lnkstern's topic in Leicester City Forum
No that's Leicester away. But you're right, we are still winning the league and there's no need to panic. -
He has no technique so we have to accept the odd glaring miss. He is however a poacher and natural goal scorer. I don't rate his overall game but it's fair to say he knows where the net is. It depends what you're looking for in a striker, someone who makes the team better and can bring others into play, or a poacher who will always be in the position to score sometimes at the detriment of the teams cohesion. I prefer the former but that's not his game.

Why did Millwall sack Rowett? Seemed to be a good fit.
-
Yeah sorry wasn't aiming the latter point at you, rather the posters on here who can't get over the fact we couldn't beat Ipswich this year. As to the first point, I can maybe see a case for West Brom in 4th as a long shot, but 3rd? Can't see it in a million years. If you look at the table they're a complete lock for 5th. For what it's worth I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them win the playoffs

YES LAD -
Amen brutha. Ipswich in the PL would be awesome. As a side note how do Preston keep on winning games? Seen people claiming Ipswich are spawny but Preston seem to keep winning games with 30% possession and a handful of shots week after week. It's like the start of the season where they won week after week usually playing dreadfully and every shot going in. Is Lowe a witchdoctor?
-
Not a chance they finish 3rd. They're nailed on for 5th Also, anyone who doesn't want Ipswich to come up 2nd to us 'needs to give their head a wobble' as they say.
-
Has come on so much this season in fact I'd say this is a break out season for KDH I didn't rate him at all last season but this year he's a key man and playing like every inch of one. He has the swagger too which can't be taught. I think he's going to shine in the top league next year.

Can't believe how much we are walking this league. Credit has to go to Enzo and of course the players. Yes we should never have gone down but we are winning at a canter week after week and deciding when to go for it in games and when to ease off. It's one of the best leagues in the world and we are absolutely dominating it. Bravo lads -
Yeah, he's definitely getting better. That turn that Strider posted to get past a marker was a clear sign of increasing dynamism in his game. But he still really struggles with the basics at times and is thus extremely inconsistent
-
I still think he's a really poor footballer and get so frustrated watching moves break down as the ball comes to him but can't argue that he is effective, and most crucially, seems to improve us as a team. So, reluctantly, on board team Patson.
-
Great point this. For this reason hope they don't introduce it
-
Your post is an abomination

They came up from league 1 last year. They have no right to even be in the top half. If it was Plymouth doing this there wouldn't be half the amount of people crying about it. Hope they steal second place.

Stoke (A) 0-5 -- Post-Match Thread

Hopefully this will breed some positivity -
Yeah they're done, will almost definitely be in the playoffs from here Will be fun watching Saints and Leeds fight it out for second from our ivory tower!

Their only striker they had with Hurst being out is Kayden Jackson (played against us a week ago) - a bit lightweight and shit and more of a wide forward than line leader. They've signed Moore to replace Hurst as a more physical presence up front. The other bloke they signed is from league 2 and one for the future.

We did have a fantastic atmosphere for a very short period of time, about 2014-2017 but it's just embarrassing now. There's a 'big 6' mentality to our fans without the quality on the pitch. Either day trippers treating it like a trip to the theatre, and even worse than that, the old gits who hate their lives and come to vent their inadequacy and frustration for 90 minutes. The types who won't make a peep but then explode with rage when the ref or lino make a dodgy decision. Small teams like Bournemouth, Rotherham and Huddersfield have much better atmospheres and more passionate fans. It's really disheartening what we have become.
