Don't understand why we are looking at RVN. Dont understand the general obsession with appointing former high profile players as managers when they have little to no experience. Ie Cov binning off Robins for Lampard. Surely in the position we're in we need to be looking at someone with experience? The whole thing makes no sense at all. Here's my thoughts on Cooper that nobody asked for or wanted: - he is consistently getting results that are better than the performances. At some point you have to question if it more than just luck (a la Carlo Ancelotti) - offensively, there is little plan, and we only seem to attack when our backs are against the wall. When we do go for it, although it's chaotic, we have seemed quite effective, direct and causing problems - defensively, despite Cooper making solidity a priority, we are lacking. This has been a major failing of his in my eyes. If you're going to set up to not concede at least have the decency to not concede - overall, I am Cooper Out. I think he has been effective so far but it still feels far too much based on luck. However, it is a gamble to replace somebody who is getting results. I would want to see clear evidence of a more concrete and effective plan, and give him a few more games up until Jan, before making the decision .
