Think we have to give up on the whataboutery or we’ll never get past GO. What matters is that we have fun enjoying the games we play, and the last minute goals to grab a point or a win or two.

Looking like the bottom 6 are a fair bit detached and worse than the rest. I rate Wolves and Palace being the best of the six, so I reckon we’re in a scrap for 17th versus Everton, Ipswich and Saints. Given that a 1 in 4 chance of staying up. Not great odds and hoping Ruud can do some magic.

Damn site more fight than their richer county cousins.

I think they beat Torquay in the first round 2-0 and then lost to Stevenage inRound 2 after a replay. The first game at home was on BBC with Lineker/Hansen etc.

Brentford 4 Leicester 1 Post Match Thread.

The idea of the Copenhagen party given the form that they were in at the time was a joke. Look at what has happened since. It's the players I am not happy with primarily, they've not done the basics and given a 100%. There's a malaise among them and they're paid enough and flippin' professionals, so sort it out between you and stop blaming the manager. -

I thought Kristansen would have been better in a 5, but there you go. Maybe there’s a surprise in store but I’m not hopeful. That back 5 has more leaking in it than a Wetherspoons gents toilet on a Friday night. -
Brentford (A) Saturday 3pm - Match Thread

phew it’s going to be a long afternoon. 3 at the back is interesting so could be 5-2-2-1 and if we attack 3-4-2-1. But I’d be surprised if we get anything given Brentford’s fast starts and free scoring at home. I can’t see Soumare and Ndidi controlling or creating much, there’s a massive reliance on Facondo. -

rest Vardy, stick Ruud upfront, he’ll be our second best striker at the club and we can save JV for Tuesday night. -
Assume it’s true then and not a scam. If it genuinely is Jon Percy sourced then all good. I’m pleased and will gracefully withdraw my application.
-
I think he’s a Cooper re spray and not new or improved.

Just looked at Oddschecker on the next Leicester Manager and the only one being backed other than Ruud is Lee Carsley. I had an awful dizzy feeling then that Carsley would get chosen, then walk into a press conference and tear off his facemask to reveal in Jim Carrey style he's Steve Cooper in disguise and we've all been duped!

Yes that's right, Carlos de Cicaball from Guatemala United.

Check the flight landings at Stoughton Airport today. I'm looking out for Jose and his entourage in a 'chopper...

As long as Potter isn't on that shortlist yet again, I don't mind. I once asked a girl out and she politely turned me down. Then 4 years later there was another opportunity, so I asked her out once more. She refused again!!!! Devastated and embarrassed. Her name..... Louise Potter

If it's Ruud Van Nistelcheat, and he's gone 1-4 with some firms that indicates it's 90% going to happen, then I can see: Vards ribbing the new boss about taking his record of Premier consecutive goals from him Foxes Club store selling a record number of turtlenecks for Christmas Fan's electric razors being reset on a Level "3" beard trim Rudkin changing his name to Ruudkin. A glut of baby boy Ruud names A parade of reindeer before the next home match

That's like hoping your grandad will come and put a clown suit on at your kid's birthday party.

Hope so cos I got £20 on him (Corberan) to get the job!
-
Agreed, the same names are flip-flopping in the betting. It doesnt look as though they had anyone lined up like Man Utd did with Amorim.
-
Our squad look like “I’m lost without Enzo” mentality at the moment for some reason. They have to be told what to do and we may need someone with a clear plan. So we get either: 1. A boss with that clear plan which will take time. 2. we get someone who delivers a short term, shell shock, old school tear-up approach that may get us over the line but won’t last. OR 3. Change the style, better on the eye and we may get relegated. I think Potter fits 1, Mourinho definitely 2. and Moyes could be both 1 and 2. RVN will be a gamble, maybe we could adapt but I’m not sure we have the attacking players available for his style. He’s the 3.

A. Will Still / Steve Bruce combo cloud do a job for us? ssshhh only joking!
-
Never jumping for joy when any manager loses their job, but this is the right decision. Surprised we acted this quickly. RVN will do for me.
-
It’s taken me a dozen games to realise it but when I watch us there is simply no game plan at all. We’ve started all but three games this season with no urgency, ending up on the back foot and being a goal down after 30 mins, sometimes two goals down. We’re the side with zero press and zero threat leaving Vardy isolated continually. We’re defensive minded, yet we can’t actually defend at this level. We make the latest substitutions in the league, often when the game has already gone. Who’s the manager? oh it’s Cooper…. Sorry Steve I’ve run out of giving you a chance and I suspect so have the players now.
-
Imagine if Ipswich beat Man Utd aswell as Saints taking at least a point then We’d be the only team in the bottom 7 to have lost this weekend! What do you mean Chelsea is a difficult game Steve? If you play like you’re going to lose without a semblance of a plan or threat then, guess what, we’re going to lose! Clueless!!!!

All our rivals have picked up points and most were away from home. Another. of our better players injured. Not a good day once again.
