I don’t even like watching us live now. It’s too stressful and we never do things comfortably even against bang average championship teams.

Chelsea are bang average to be fair. They gifted a goal and we got back in it briefly. Unfortunately with Doyle off, Enzo took off our 1 remaining battery. I don’t understand that.

Giving away late goals is becoming a habit. With Mavadidi and Fatawu off we had no out ball, just like against Coventry.

I have a feeling our earlier FA Cup team would have done better than this team. We’re so open at the back Chelsea should have had far more. Hoping it’s not going to get worse than this.

Defending with diver boots on we are just so sloppy and slow. Enzo may as well gamble now as to be honest we don’t look like scoring as it is.

Who would you prefer in the playoffs? I’d want to avoid Coventry, West Brom but would be less concerned if it were Hull, Saints or Norwich?

The run in is as much mentality and physicality (as Claude would say 😊) now as possession, passing stats and control. Have we got enough of these characteristics to match IPS, Leeds and Southampton? I would say not except possibly Southampton. If we end up third then I’m not confident that Enzo and our players could pick themselves up for a playoff battle having been in control for 70% of the season.

Imagine if we get Cov in the playoffs? Heck ….

It’s a quarter final we have to take it seriously otherwise the efforts to date are wasted. A win would be massive for confidence.

Need a win to stay top, 3 points clear before the international break. To go in only ahead on goal difference would not be good for our mentality which is fragile at best.

20 more points will definitely do it, 6 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. We may not need that many because I can’t see our rivals continuing on these ridiculous winning sequence runs but we have to keep pushing ahead.

Absolutely right, but with Vestergaard back who do you play? I can’t see him dropping Faes so I think Coady drops out again. My bigger concern is up front.

Look we’re in a bad run of form but we got 3 points somehow. I think and hope this will be a turnaround now in performances and we move on. I don’t care about our poor play, Enzo substitutions, or so and so’s out of form. Move on to Saturday and let’s get behind them.
